Beautiful 2 Bedroom Suite on the Strip next to the Cosmopolitan Resort & Casino

The room was clean and comfortable and available for a fair price, the owner was responsive and polite. The staff were less than helpful and acted as if they were upset we bothered them by staying there. It took almost an hour to check in, I was bounced back and forth between security and the front desk multiple times and treated as if I had made some error. Meanwhile my party of guests were left standing in the lobby this whole time, no offer of help with luggage or a place to sit during this hour long check in. When they finally found our reservation (apparently the front desk never checked at all, but found it immediately when the owner called the front desk - yes the property owner had to yell at the front desk to get us checked in) THEY acted put out at me, then treated my guests as if I was sneaking them in despite my having listed all parties on the reservation. I wrote down all my guests names no less than 3 times during my 3 day stay despite them being listed on the original reservation. When we called to make a pool reservation per the instructions of the pool staff, the receptionist was immediately rude and insisted we could only make the reservation in person. When I said we would be down to reserve a space, she said she personally knew the whole weekend was booked so I shouldn't bother. I went down anyways, and she immediately booked us a spot on a nearly blank rsvp list, then made me write everyone's name down on a scrap of paper while she held a print out with all our names on it. The pool was half empty the whole time we were there, chairs and cabanas empty all over the place. I have no idea why the staff was so rude and unhelpful, but it will definitely put a damper on your fun. If you're expecting any Las Vegas style service stay somewhere else, if you want a clean budget stay with zero frills this is your spot.
