Stayed Jul 20, 2025Edgewater is a great condo we have stayed at different rooms in other condo buildings and have also stayed in the villas. This was my favorite room we have stayed in by far. The easiest walk to the beach if you have young children.

Stayed May 24, 2025This was our second time staying in this condo. First time was in 2023. Great location convenient to everything in Panama City! Really like the Edgewater resort. The kids loved going to the big pool and splash pad which was a quick walk through the buildings or a little walk down the beach. The Winward area was way less crowded on the beach and at the pool. Condo was nice and clean and had very quick beach access.

Stayed Aug 2, 2024Everything was excellent except one thing. We had difficulty getting our parking pass. We arrived late and was given an address to go pick up the pass, but the address given was locked up tight and had no pass. We called and left messages, but no one returned our calls. We were able to get visitors' parking passes from the other office.

Stayed Jun 1, 2024I’ve been coming to Edgewater every year for my entire life and almost always in different rooms, but never needing to leave a negative review until now. I have NEVER slept in a bed as terrible as the bed in the master bedroom (I’m serious). There’s a huge dip in the middle, it’s the loudest noise if you even breathe while laying on it, the terrible mattress isn’t even on a box spring but instead on top of another thin, worn mattress and broken slats. If you’re coming here hoping to get a little freaky in the sheets, ain’t happening. After the very little sleep we had each night, we woke up with headaches and backaches every single morning and we are in our early 30s if that tells you anything. Oh, and the pillows do not help the quality of sleep either. The pull out bed isn’t much better. If you sleep here in these beds, you will be absolutely miserable. Aside from the sleep situation, a few minor issues is that the balcony door is nearly impossible to open/close and the front door is pretty loud. Overall, decently clean enough to allow my 1 year old to crawl around.

Stayed May 9, 2024Good stuff: Easy check in process and was granted condo access earlier than published. View and location were awesome. Resort is nice and like staying there. This was our 3rd experience at this resort. Lots of good restaurants near by. Condo stocked with most things you would need for an easy experience and water pressure for showers was great. Just don’t shower when the washer is running. The remodeled bath is nice. Needs improvement: Brought a Nespresso and there was a huge puddle of old coffee under the condos coffee pot. Some utensils, cooking sheets and glasses were not clean. The living room furniture is worn and not comfortable for sitting. The pull out bed was extremely worn, noisy and difficult to sleep on due to bars across the platform. The older bath sink would hardly drain and the toilet seat is barely fastened so you had to be careful when sitting down.Sliding door is difficult to open/close onto the balcony.
