Beachside Towers II 4243 - Sandestin, Updated Beachfront Condo, Great Amenities!

Gorgeous views and beach proximity made the stay fairly enjoyable. Place was fairly clean (someone's long hair in the shower and shower floor, and a sink). Nice renovation and spacious. We arrived when it was in the 30s and rainy. We played games and tried to watch tv at night. The wifi cuts off or is incredibly slow every night. Some people won't care about that, but when inside because of weather, a solid wifi connection would be nice. The only thing that physically wore on my family was the hard mattresses in every bedroom. My 80-year old mother-in-law hurt for days. My husband elected to sleep on a sofa for two days because the mattress hurt. I joined him on the sofa for one night. I would've given five stars if not for the mattresses. We vacation in Sandestin often, and won't pick this place again. It's a shame because the condo is at the perfect location, and for the price, it seems to me the mattresses should be more comfortable.

A perfect location for an all-girls trip! We had such an amazing time because we had THE perfect place! We felt safe with the gated community and the (numerous) coded doors. We had ample space with 2 living rooms, a wrap-around deck, and windows, windows, windows! The view was breathtaking! Everything was modern, clean, updated, and well decorated. We had plenty of towels and bedding for all! We were close to everything!

The condo itself was nice. Aside from a few minor issues, we had no major concerns during our stay in late October. The exterior porch lights did not work. We contacted the property manager and got an automated reply but no one ever came out to fix this. The ceiling fans were dusty, but overall the place was clean when we arrived. The beds were not the most comfortable, but may be the type of mattress we are not used to. The location was fantastic! We had views of both the sunset and sunrise and a direct view of the newly renovated pool. The website says the pool is headed in winter months and at the HOA's discretion. We found out that they do not heat the pool until Thanksgiving. This would have been nice to know before hand. Overall this place had plenty of room for our family of 4. We just wish we had more time and better weather.

Book this one fast!! The views are breathtaking and steps from the beach! We were here for a girls trip and we could not ask for a better location with all the things available to us! The restaurant next door is amazing!! We will be back for sure!

We very much enjoyed our stay in this unit and the incredible views it offered. The property was clean andas represented. Very little supplies were provided. I know that can vary from rentals. I would recommend staying here when the new pool is done. We were not aware of the construction and it was a dissapointment. The new pool will be great when its done. Very small print you had to dig deep into website to find the information.

The views were amazing, beach access was easy, the condo was on point! The construction going on and the lack of access to the pool during our stay was inconvenient, but understandable! Advanced notification of construction would have been appreciated! Overall we had a great stay and would come back again!

As soon as we entered the door, I knew we had hit the jackpot with this unit. It was very clean, everything was in working order and the views from the family, master and other bedroom was just stunning. During the stay I must have received 50 compliments on the trip and beauty of the unit. We were all elated and already planning to return to this same unit in the near future. A true treasure in the Destin area.

Hello VRBO. I have now had some time to decompress form my Ocean Reef rental (Condo). I checked in on a Saturday 10/26 and starting on Monday morning at 7am we heard major construction and jack hammering until 6pm. It was non-stop! When I inquired to Ocean Reef the quickly through back that in the fine print they stated there was a Construction. When I replied, they choose not to reply back, which told me they knew they were misleading in their Listing. All the noise made it impossible to sleep in, relax or rest during the hours of 7am and 6pm M-W. I checked out on Wednesday. They should of made it more clear and gave more details on what the Construction entailed. They completely misrepresented the Condo! I hope you all take measures to ensure someone else stay is not ruined like ours was.

Had an amazing stay and the unit was as advertised! The pictures don’t do this place justice. We will definitely be visiting again soon!

The only complaint I have is that people can put their chairs and umbrellas in front of the purchased chairs/umbrellas on the beach. We paid almost $400 for the week to rent them and all week there was tons of people in front of us each day which took away alot of the ocean view and access.
