Beachside 1 4144 - penthouse gulf condo with a huge private terrace balcony

The condo was amazing for our mother and daughter beach trip! The balcony/patio was truly wonderful and the views incredible. The condo itself was comfortable and had everything we needed. We also loved the water pressure in the showers!

Easy peasy gulf breezy!! Beautiful home with lots of amenities. Communication with the host was simple and not to mention how accommodating they were. Best in the biz!!! Big thanks again for making a memorable vacation for our family.

Condo was perfect for our family of 4! We loved that we were on the 14th floor and able to see some dolphins from our balcony! Place was clean and host responded to all our inquiries in a timely manner!!

There aren’t many rentals in Beschside 1 so I advise people to book well in advance. Beachside 1 offers private beachside property to owners, rentals and guests so you’re not forced to share space with day trippers who park at the Hilton public beach access. There is plenty of great places to dine all within a reasonable Uber drive. Gibson ensures a seamless experience. I’ve found all of the owners we’ve had the pleasure of meeting over the years to be extremely friendly and welcoming, especially Mr. and Mrs Garland.

Loved the private balcony and the condo itself was wonderful. Sandestin resort area has easy access to beaches as well a really nice pool and cleanup areas from sand. This condo has everything we needed with three chairs and an umbrella for the beach! Ice machine downstairs and Walmarts and other grocery within 5 minutes make this an ideal spot. Would stay again!

You can tan there and never have to lay in the sand. The pool area was clean neat and well monitored.

This trip was a special one because it was probably our last spring break to Destin (Louisville South). We have been coming for many years but 5 of our 7 children are now in college and the two littles would rather not visit the beach if they had a choice. We were sooooo disappointed in this property. Half of The patio furniture was broken and when we asked to have it removed we were told to just move it to the side. The oven didn’t work so we had to throw a bunch of food away that we had planned to cook that wouldn’t have made it 12 hrs home. The unit was dirty. We found so many cheezits laying around that I had to check the pantry to make sure we didn’t bring any. There were other peoples left belongings everywhere (closets, drawers, under the beds). I was so disappointed. The view was nice and the location was perfect. I wish that the condo had been in better shape.

The views………. We absolutely loved staying here! You could see the golf water and the bay water from our terrace. Condo was great and we loved the location! Looking to head back next year!

Overall we were very impressed with our condo. It suited all our needs. The unit itself could use some updating as there is sort of a hodgepodge of furniture. Large pieces of furniture that sort of make it hard to navigate through the unit itself. That being said - this isn’t a deterrent from us rerenting this unit in the future. Just food for thought for the owners as the pictures on the website are slightly deceiving in terms of space. However that being said the view is lovely with ample area outside for sitting. Penthouse view for the win! We were close to all activities while still getting that resort secluded feel. The pool and hottub were a fan favorite & everyone we encountered were incredibly kind and welcoming

She requested a place with a view of the gulf and access to the beach. Thus rental was just right for what she asked. She was happy and excited. We had a wonderful stay.
