Great place for the family

My family really enjoyed Splash 1004W. Beds are very comfy!!! Check in was a breeze. The condo was furnished with everything we need to cook and serve meals. We loved the property amenities as well. Thank you Panhandle Getaways!! We will be back again.

My family and I love coming this time of year. The room was perfect for our needs. We didn’t let the chilly weather get in our way. Pier Park was right up the street, we found a cute little local grocery store called Carousel that had an awesome gift shop and a great selection of wine and cheeses. This room had everything we needed for a great eeekrjf stay. We will return. Thanks for letting us stay!

The only issue was their were no batteries in the TV remote in living room and bedroom, otherwise all was great.

We enjoyed the condo as a nice home base. We had a number of boating activities planned, so we only used the room for sleeping, and did not use the splash park and spent only a little time on the beach. This is an extremely busy area during this time of year and there were long waits for the elevator and traffic was heavy throughout PCB.

The listing cited “sleeps 6” but had no blankets for any beds and no bedding for the pullout. The mgmt company did bring hospital-like blankets about mid-night the first night and housekeeping brought linens on our last night of stay. There was an ironing board and no iron; dishes were dirty; the dryer extremely loud; only 3 forks; the toaster only toasted one side of the bread in either slot: the freezer took more than 8 hours to freeze anything on the highest setting...at least the coffee pot worked and the mattresses were really comfy. Additionally, the listing cited “bonus benefits” like discounts including a daily allowance for Dave and Busters...that we never received nor did we get a reply when I asked about it. I’d stay again if it were the only available property in PCB.

It was an Awesome Experience for us being our 1st visit to PCB. We loved everything about the resort except the elevators were a problem , which I understand they were doing all they could. Also the bar and grill was closed , that was a bummer to us. Their were a few issues with our Condo 1004w , other than that we throughly enjoyed our stay with Splash Resort. We will definitely be back.

We had a great time but this is only for kids. No Adult pool or heated pool as the listing said. Kids were in all the pools and nothing is heated. Lazy river provides floats but they are child size. No floats or balls allowed in the other pools and it made it easy to enjoy the pools without all the clutter. No Friday or Saturday night pool side movies as listed in description. No Bar/Grill on property, they have an area for it but it was only open 2 hours over the 8 days we were there. The lady said she was allotted so much food and when it’s gone she shuts down. Food was good but they never opened again. The condo was good and they replaced the broken microwave and coffee pot while we were there. Washer and dryer are very small and old. Blinds broken and drapes are still ripped but they still work. Everything is normal wear and tear for a beachfront condo. Very easy beach access and lots of places to wash off sand. It’s great having Alvin’s Island across the street. It was overall a great place to stay and we would stay again when we take our grandchildren.

The property had some amazing amenities for children. Unfortunately, the bad things tainted our experience and we probably won't go back to Splash resort. The main thing was the lack of elevators. We would wait 10 minutes just to catch an elevator back to our room. Also, because of the early check out times, everyone is trying to leave with carts of items making it impossible to catch an elevator down. On the day we left we watched 5 elevators pass our floor already filled. Although the condo was pretty good, the kitchen was in need of repair. The cabinets had pieces peeling away, the microwave handle was broken and the garbage disposal was not working. There were some broken window blinds and the curtain was shredded. The resort itself was fairly well maintained. The workout room was hot in the morning like th AC had not been on all night. The pools are the best asset.
