Athens Lycabettus Hill Penthouse, private roof garden & pool

Over all the apartment was great. Loved the roof top pool, area felt safe, was quiet. We felt very comfortable leaving the windows and doors open for fresh air even when we weren’t home. Host was very helpful in helping us arrange transportation to and from the airport as well as giving us tips on things to do in the local area

We highly recommend the luxurious Lycabettus Hill penthouse for your Athens visit! Dimitris offers fabulous hospitality and a gorgeous, quiet and secure home for your comfort. We were in Athens for 4 nights in late July with our 9 1/2 year old granddaughter on a quest to learn about Greco-Roman culture, mythology and ancient history in preparation for her school curriculum. The penthouse was our sanctuary with a well-equipped kitchen for enjoying meals, laundry facilities if needed, very comfortable beds and living area, and la pièce de résistance: the rooftop pool, where we enjoyed every spare moment! Dimitris is a friendly, sophisticated host; and extremely well-traveled, knowledgeable and accommodating with requests. We appreciated his offer to provide a driver for ATH transfer, as well. And, we deeply appreciate that he worked with us to retrieve a forgotten item. Our deepest gratitude to Dimitris and his warm hospitality. Until we meet again! (“9 1/2!”)

The pool is a nice feature - particularly in the heat of July25. The bedrooms and showers are small. The beds were extremely hard, which made sleeping difficult. The property was not clean to a standard we would expect. We did not appreciate are unannounced visit by the owner.

Amazing is the best way to describe it. From the initial booking until departure, Dimitri and Fotini were extremely responsive. They provided excellent guidance to things to see, when to go, places to eat. Between that and the wonderful home, it made an amazing ending to a great two week family trip.

We had a wonderful stay! We were arriving from a cruise ship and the host helped arrange transportation to the Penthouse. He and his assistant met us there to go through the property and answer any questions. He reviewed a map of the city and recommended places to visit, and helped us to set up a driver for a trip to the beach in Sounion. Very nice property, and wonderful host!

The flat has stunning views from the roof and pool, very comfortable stay. And the host Dimitris is wonderful, helpful and a great ambassador to those visiting Athens.

The property is in a great and safe location near the U.S. embassy. The apartment occupies the third floor and rooftop of the building, including a beautiful rooftop pool and large shaded patio area surrounded by a rooftop garden. I highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Demetris was extremely hospitable and assisted us with transfers and restaurant recommendations The penthouse was fully equipped and located in a very nice neighborhood. The private pool was fabulous. Great place for a small group or family. You won’t be disappointed.

Demetris was an awesome host greeted us at the door, helped us with our luggage sang songs with us Gave us a brief history of Greece recommended where to go where to eat an absolutely 12 out of 10 place to stay would definitely come back. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! There were only 2 of us but definitely room for a bigger group! The pool was great with many outdoor snd indoor dining areas and places to relax! The owner was gracious and available for our questions.

Dimitris was the best host! Great communication before our arrival and made sure we had everything we needed to begin our trip. He met us at his property and made sure we felt like we were at home. Can’t recommend the property or host more highly. We will be back!
