Stayed Mar 23, 2025The views off the balcony were amazing. I will say there is a charge for the workout facility, volleyball/basketballs and cabanas. I was disappointed about that. But the location was wonderful and the resort was absolutely beautiful. The property manager suggested a snorkeling company that wasn’t ideal. They were supposed to take us to a reef and ended up at a beach that was not a snorkeling site. The fishing trip was amazing though. Would definitely stay there again

Stayed Feb 15, 2025Good location on the beach with great views as advertised. We received no check in information even though we sent messages to the owner twice. We arrived in the evening had to track down someone to get the access code which was not easy and took a while. The Zoerty concierge keep saying they had nothing to do with the condos but finally gave us a phone number to call. It would have been good to get this from the owner as requested. The coffee maker did not work, the microwave was in the on position only and therefore had to open the door to turn it off. One of the cabinet door hinges was off, there was no propane in the grill, No lights on the upper porch. Hopefully the manger will get these little things taken care of. That said, the unit was very nice and the location was excellent being about 1/2 way between Los Cabos and San Jose del Cabo. Great beach and walking distant to a couple of good but expensive restaurants.Overall a good experience but be prepared to go with the flow especially if you like coffee in the morning :)

Stayed Dec 29, 2022We stayed in this condo over New Years. It is a nice condo with great views of the beach and ocean. We saw whales, jumping fish and dolphins from the balconies. The condo had plenty of space for the four of us, we stayed upstairs and our teenage girls had the downstairs bedroom. It was nice to have privacy from each other. The stairs going up to the bedroom are steep, narrow and winding so we had to be careful on them and getting luggage up and down was a little challenging. We loved the Casa Del Mar resort. It was nice to have the amenities there, but still the option to do some meals in the condo. The resort food and service were great. The resort staff will help you with whatever you need. We went to their New Years Eve party and had a fabulous time. There was really no check in or check out process at the condo. We would have appreciated more instructions, so here are some things that may help the next person. When you get to the resort, tell the gate you are staying in La Luna 301. Once you get in the hotel bell staff will help you get to your condo. I had to just call the manager when we got there for the door code, would have been nice to have those instructions in writing before we got there. The manager, however, was good about answering his phone and was responsive on WhatsApp. He lined up airport transfer for us and the driver stopped so we could get groceries. We did not want to rent a car, so we found the easiest thing was getting a taxi from the bell staff. Uber is a little hard if you don’t speak Spanish and they don’t always want to let them into places because they prefer taxis. The taxis were not much more expensive and were very prompt and clean. Cabo was super busy while we were there, our friends rented a car and had trouble finding parking when we went into town. The location is good because it’s halfway between San Jose and Cabo San Lucas. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Stayed Mar 31, 2022The views from this condo are amazing! Enjoyed sitting on the decks watching the ocean & swimming in the pools looking at the beach. The condo was clean & beds cozy. Casa Del Mar is a beautiful resort. The beach restaurant is gorgeous and pool dining is handy for snacks/drinks. The property is very near several great snorkeling beaches, but I do recommend a rental car if you plan to go on day trips as Uber waits were often long & taxis are pricey. There is a grocery store nearby but again a car makes this much easier. The condo kitchen had some spices, oils, etc which is nice for cooking & laundry supplies were appreciated. Only issues we had were the check-in process & communication with owner was slow. We did not receive ANY of the check in info that is typically provided such as exact address, directions, property access code, WiFi password etc. The night prior to our trip I had to call and was just given a phone number for the property manager in Cabo. Made the start of our trip stressful for sure. Would also be nice to have some written info in the condo including a map of the area, location to take trash & the check out process which we usually see in VRBO properties. Overall, a lovely condo in a gorgeous resort and we had a wonderful vacation! We definitely enjoyed the sunsets, whale sightings, sound of the ocean waves and bonus of nightly fireworks just off our deck.

Stayed Feb 26, 2022We really enjoyed our 4 week vacation at the condo. The location was perfect! We loved watching the whales from the decks. We appreciated that it was fully equipped with the essentials. Enjoyed using the BBQ. Our only surprise was that the master bedroom was on an upper floor and was accessed by a narrow, angular stairway. Anyone with mobility issues may find this difficult. The upstairs area is very roomy, comfortable and bright. There is a lack of privacy, as the toilet and shower are completely visible from the bed. This was not an issue for us. We loved Casa Del Mar. All of the pools and tennis courts were great. We’ll be back! Thanks Wen.

Stayed Dec 23, 2021The apartment was excellent. As we had family staying in a large villa only about fifteen minutes walk away, we only really used it for sleeping and did no cooking. The setting was really good. Two points to note. When we arrived by taxi we were dropped off at the boutique hotel and we didn't realise that we should not try and book in via the hotel. This wasted about an hour. The second is the restaurant on the beach. We booked it for seventeen people and expected really good food along with the ambience. It was a disaster - nearly all the dishes served were wrong; for example a tuna salad was delivered without the tuna and eventually with many apologies we were only charged for two meals. Altogether not good enough but certainly not the fault of the owners of the property we rented. Altogether an excellent stay.
