Beachfront Fort Walton Beach Condo | Views for Miles & Close to Everything!

We had a delightful stay at Emerald Isle! Unit was clean and spacious. Kitchen had everything we needed we have no complaints! Would book this unit again.

Outside porch was filthy , almost black with ash and dirt. Grout in between tile floor was black in some spots - building needs to be pressure washed everywhere and update elevators . great view and good bathrooms

This is a very nice property. The only issue was that the elevator was broken when we arrived. It stayed that way until the next evening which was aggravating being on the 5th floor. Also, the pool had to be drained while we were there so it was out of service for 1 day. Other than that, it was a perfect visit.

Great location. Good condo. Frustrating property manager. The entire experience was all about them rather than all about their customers. A completely ridiculous check-out time coupled with a mostly ridiculous check-in time tops the list. Please don't blame COVID. That's just silly and demeaning. The contract process was also all about their 6 page list of rules rather than about my pleasure and enjoyment. All in all it was a good place but not a good experience.

The property was very clean and had everything my family needed. There are a few things that I would suggest to make it an even better experience. First, I would add a washer and dryer inside the condo instead of only having one option which was the shared laundry room on each floor. There were too many people trying to use it at the same time and some guests forgot to get their laundry out which made it inconvenient for others to use it. I would also suggest putting up visible signs for reserved parking. Someone was parked in our spot multiple times and we had to park quite a bit away from our condo. In others’ defense, it was difficult to see the condo numbers on the parking spots at night due to the lack of lighting. I would also suggest an upgrade in the elevators. They were very slow and would get stuck some of the time. Also, there was no air conditioning in the elevators. Management, however, was very responsive any time we had a question or issue. We would consider staying here again due to the location and cleanliness of the condo.

Overall the stay was great! Right on the beach, overall clean property. The unit could use a little bit of updating (popcorn ceilings, light/fan fixture wiring hung up on hooks on the ceiling and then down wall to plug in), but this is only cosmetic stuff… ?

Overall experience was acceptable in my terminology. The condo was not in the condition as advertised. The balcony furniture was poor at best. There was an obvious safety risk due to the amount of rust present. The sinks in both bathrooms did not drain well at all. This left an absorbent amount of debris in the sinks. I was not able to control the thermostat in the condo, which was highly upsetting. It was a smart thermostat that was being controlled remotely. Two of the closets were junk closets. There is no washer and dryer in the condo, which presents problems. The condo was clean, and the view was beautiful. The elevators were efficiently functioning. The parking space is located spot on. I would not rent this condo again.
