Stayed Mar 31, 2025We loved our stay. It was not our first time at North Coast Village so we kind of knew what we were doing when we booked. We intentionally chose this unit because of its easy access to parking, the pool is just a short walk, and the beach is out the back door. It’s super easy to have kids coming and going from both the beach and other amenities. It is also quieter as the backside of the unit is on the furthered northern border of the complex. The unit was clean, but I couldn’t give 5 stars because we had an issue with ants. This was not because we were extremely messy. Ants paid us a visit for small crumbs on the stovetop or a tiny piece of food in the sink. It was a little frustrating to come back to every time we left the property. I think it can be mitigated with more property management involvement and doesn’t take away from the possibility of enjoying this unit. The pool is great! It’s heated. Hot tub, gym, recreation areas are great. The grounds keeping is top level. I enjoyed walking around the grounds. This unit has the BEST access to a beach. If you’re going to play at the ocean, this is great! They had chairs and boogie boards provided by the unit and that was awesome! Easy to unload groceries and luggage since it’s next to the driveway. Thanks for a great stay.

Stayed Sep 19, 2024We have stayed in multiple places and locations from Imperial Beach to Newport beach over the years and this was the best of them all. Everything you read in the description and see in the pictures tell it all and loading and unloading and convenient parking is a cherry on the top.

Stayed Mar 9, 2024Great location! Resort is under construction, so a bit noisy and messy. We have stayed in North Coast Village many times and we always love it. This was a great unit with a great location. Would definitely recommend!

Stayed Nov 30, 2023I have stayed in various units at NCV, and was excited about this one. Turns out it wasn't the location I expected, but in the end, I liked it. Corner unit, no one in front of you, and short walk to beach. The ants were ruthless in the kitchen. There was spray in the cupboard, which kind of worked. I was unable to access the outdoor shed which contained beach chairs and toys because the combination lock was corroded from the ocean air, or I was doing it wrong, but it would have been nice to have beach chairs. I was grateful that my request to extend my stay was granted because my other plans fell through. All in all, I thought this was a great unit in a great location and I would return.

Stayed Jan 26, 2022We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in E1 was wonderful ! We do have a few recommendations for the condo though. Many items in the kitchen need to be updated. The kitchen utensils were very old and cheap. We had to buy a new blender, new coffee pot , dish towels, broom and corkscrew. Also, the coating on the pans is peeling off, not good for cooking. We also had a few inconveniences such as when boiler was replaced water came through the fireplace and 100's of ants also. Very noisy, so we had to sit outside. Also work was done on the upstairs balcony, very noisy . There were never any apologies for the inconvenience. Also, a very old and uncomfortable couch in the living room should be removed. The ants came daily, but we kept cleaning the floors to remove them. Also, there was a shortage of quarters so we had to go shopping and ask for some. The prices went up while we were there, so then, not enough quarters. We had to use the quarters we had to wash the towels that were used to clean up water from the boiler. This may seem like a lot of complaints, but the view made it worthwhile and we did have fun!! We would rent this unit again, but we hope a little money might be put into it so everything is not so old. Thank you, Jan and Bill
