    The condo was very nice. Everything you need is there. It is dated, but very clean. The master bedroom bed was comfortable. The views are wonderful. I would have done 5 stars, but there was a lot of construction going on around us so we left a day early. I hated to miss a day, but the noise was too much.

    Nice ocean views and spacious. Air conditioning worked well and all the tv’s were functional. The kitchen was well-stocked. Easy beach access. The sea pines grounds were scenic and the pool was nice. The unit was very dated - old furniture, worn carpet, peeling wallpaper, torn curtains, old lampshades and ceiling was falling down in places. The unit was unsecured when we entered. We were given the wrong code for the unit lock and the pool. Vacasa was responsive and helped us enter the property with the key in the lockbox. There were no beach supplies in the unit (no chairs, no beach towels, no beach toys). We would come back to the area, but not necessarily the unit unless the owners update it.

    Every year FIR THE PAST 15 years or so, our family visits HHI. We love the beaches and the area. 2 years ago, we stayed in Sea Pines and a nice condo on South Side. This year we decided to go to South Side again. As we arrived, we realized it was the same area. Then, as we rode the elevator up to the 3rd floor, we realized we were in the same building. And, I’m sure you guessed by now, we were staying in the exact same condo. We love the location. We are “critter” people so we get to see lots of crabs, starfish, a few sting rays, a flounder, and even some daily deer. Salty Dog is a walk across the street and the Sunsets are beautiful.

    We loved staying here. The place was quiet and peaceful. The condo is very roomy and had everything we needed. We loved the view, the multiple windows, doors, and balcony access from the living area, windows/doors/balcony from each bedroom, and the location a short walk from The Salty Dog, convenience shop, and bike rentals. We loved having the trees and green space between us and the beach that was full of wildlife - deer, birds, etc. - and being able to watch the beautiful sunsets since the condo is situated on the Calibogue Sound. It's a short walk down the Sound beach to the opening to the Atlantic. We routinely saw dolphins, eagles, osprey, brown pelicans, and more, as we relaxed in the living area or on the deck. The condo pool is really nice - big and clean. The kitchen amenities show their wear and tear, as does some of the furniture, but other than that, everything was great - clean, spacious, pleasant, comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again.

    This unit is well located on the southern tip of Hilton Head Island. From its balconies, guests look across the water at Daufuskie Island, and the unit offers a wonderful vista, no matter the hour. Bedroom suites feature their own private bathroons and outer balcony access, and connecting doors afford full privacy and a quiet environment. The dining area, directly adjacent to the kitchen, is very functional, and the living room is comfortable and affords ready access to the balcony seating areas. Getting to the beach is a short walk from this unit, and it is only a five minute walk from the unit to The Salty Dog Cafe and adjacent retail stores, tennis, and Pickle Ball courts. The Complex also had its own swimming pool, so guests have a variety of amenities available at close hand. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

    Location and proximity to beach and pool were great. This is our second stay at this specific and condo. Can understand some age and wear but very disappointed with overall condo. Carpets and furniture had significant wear and stains. Walls needed painting. Spare bedroom blinds broken and wouldn’t close. Outdoor furniture dirty, broken and could not use.

    Great location near all the South Beach shops and restaurants. Loved the quick access to the beach and the pool with great fishing off the beach. Walked to local Pickleball courts for a fun evening activity.

    Many reviewers have posted that this condo needs to be renovated, I would just say that we were very comfortable (even though we were trapped indoors due to hurricane Debbie!), no issues on that front at all. The location is unbeatable Sea Pines, right on South Beach, 2mn walk to Salty Dog, we saw dolphins and sharks and deer and many birds, it is just stunning. Would have appreciated a couple of basics like salt and pepper, cooking oil, a blanket on the beds, enough toilet paper for the week. Overall, we had a fantastic stay!

    As I told Vasca corp the area is beautiful; nature abounds; pool was great, clean, and surroundings around well kept. The unit itself is in great need of upkeep, badly needs paint and updated. It was lacking in cleanliness -found empty plastic bottles behind nightstand. Top sheet barely fit the bed, and comforter old, no dustruffle or covering of the bottom mattress. Asked for additional wash cloths and a case had to be made to get them- received third day after asking. In the 20+ years using VRBO, I have never had these problems. The condo did not live up to the standards I expected of this area.

    Property has a great view and great balcony space. Overall needs to be greatly upgraded and improved. I would look for another property based on carpets and other greatly needed upgrades.

    Love the very large deck for this unit overlooking the Calibogue Sound. Dolphins, stingrays, heron, sharks, jellyfish, starfish, deer, rabbits, armadillo, red tail hawk, and alligators were some of the wildlife that we got to see in this one week all from the deck of this unit or walking/riding bikes in Sea Pines! Such a beautiful place!
