Stayed Mar 11, 2022Let’s start with the good… the condo is right on the beach and you can walk out the patio to the Gulf. The on-site management and the staff at Brett Robinson who manage the property were responsive and easy to work with. Now for the condo… it’s obvious the owner hasn’t slept a night in this condo in years if ever and this unit is just meant to churn rental income. The water heater went out our first night, no hot water and had to shower in another unit. One TV didn’t work… no surprise as it was purchased during the Clinton administration. Wi-Fi was out almost the entire time and for the few hours it was on it was so slow it was worthless… a major problem because this ground floor unit is next to the parking garage so we also had no cell service. Every fixture in the condo is at least 20 years old and was cheap when it was brand new and needed to be replaced 10 years ago… broken faucets that spray the mirror, rusty drains, broken towel and TP holders, peeling and chipped paint, completely worn out cabinetry, rusty dishwasher and a collection of mis-matched furniture that I’m guessing was all second hand originally. Listen, if this is just your condo and you’re okay with things being run down, old and dingy then fine… but if you’re going to put it in a rental pool and charge over $500/night maybe take one week’s rent and fix what’s broken. There are literally thousands of other condos in Orange Beach to choose from… take my advice and stay in one of them where the owner takes care of their property.
