The photos represent the property fairly well. A small balcony with bistro chairs & table affords a scenic overview of old Vieste. Very nice. Disappointing is that the listing is false as there is no on site parking. A day in advance, I asked the host about the parking site. I was succinctly informed I could park at the harbour. When I asked as to precise location of the parking lot or if there was a fee (there is) I got no response. This was exacerbated by the fact that the property is in a restricted traffic zone and liable to fines. Loading and unloading a car requires 75m carrying of luggage up steps from the closest accessible street (the harbour parking lot is a 300m walk). Also day before arrival, I asked the host about how to get keys but got no response. When we arrived at the unit I again contacted the host; we had to wait on the street until a reply with the access code for the key box. The apartment is on separate levels. The main bedroom is the only space with air conditioning. I asked about remote control for the ceiling level a/c unit and was told it is in the room. I asked for clarity and got no reply. Narrow stairs lead to the sole bathroom and eventually kitchen and living room. These areas are not air conditioned and, dependent on weather, are hot & unbearable. When I advised of our departure, I received a message that a tourist tax and linen fees needed to be paid! the first time any such costs had been mentioned! Will stay somewhere else next time.

It is a multi-level apartment (bedroom downstairs, bathroom in the middle, kitchen and living area upstairs) as they are quite common in this part of the city, very nicely renovated and furnished with a consistent style. I.e. it is just not a collection of furniture, which you sometimes unfortunately find. A beautiful place. Special mention deserves the spacious bathroom and kitchen with all the necessary equipment (technology and utensils). Communication with the landlady was uncomplicated and friendly. We have enjoyed our short time very much and thus come to our verdict. Thank you

Nicely renovated, decorated, and updated kitchen and bathroom with a lovely view of the sea. However, not exactly as portrayed in the listing. (1) The listing says on-site parking but that's not true. Parking is 225 meters down a hill in the port, just like all the other rentals in the area. (2) The photos show a stairway leading to the upper level, but they don't show that the only bathroom is on the upper level and the bedrooms are on the lower level. (3) Communication with the owner was a challenge. She didn't provide check-in instructions, didn't tell us where to park or meet someone, and nobody was at the unit waiting for us at the time we said we'd arrive. We had to figure out to text her (WhatsApp was all she would answer) and then she sent her property manager. (4) After we the property manager left, we noticed that the apartment had ants in the kitchen and bathroom. We asked the property manager about a product for dealing with them and she attempted to clean the areas where they were present. A few minutes after she left, the ants had returned. They were in the kitchen and in the bathroom. We stayed 2 nights of our 5 night planned stay, and the ant infestation problem only increased. Because of the ants on the kitchen counter, kitchen baseboards and wall, bathroom shower, floor, and sink, we felt this apartment was not where we were comfortable staying and left after 2 nights.
