AV42-Luxury Ocean Front Paradise - 2 Bed/2Bath with Pool

The property location was perfect. We enjoyed the immediate access to the beach and pool. Beds were comfortable enough, but extra bedding would have been preferred. We appreciated the extra beach chair in addition to the 2 chairs and umbrella set up daily on the beach. The decor was quirky/sea hag kind of vibe--we liked it, as it added to the vacation feel. We have already stated multiple times that we will return. Pros definitely outweigh the cons. A few issues that we had: 1.The elevator door slammed shut on my mother as she was entering. It seemed to malfunction, and we were leary of it the entire time. It also had a smell of WD40 or the like. 2. A large family reserved the area surrounding the BBQ grills by keeping towels on the chairs, making it impossible for us to use. They smoked marijuana freely, and the aroma came up to our condo constantly. Anytime we opened the door, the smell became trapped indoors. 3. Dirty ceiling fan blades. 4. The disposal did not work. 5. Cheap paper towels and toilet paper. 6. Very small bottles of shampoo/conditioner (1 each for each bathroom) for a 5-day stay. 7. No bed bug protection on mattresses and box springs. Extra comments: 1. We felt safe our entire stay. 2. Parking was as close as possible. Uncovered. Included in price. 3. Tom Thumb convenience store in parking lot. Very convenient. 4. A/C worked very well. 5. Quiet, block construction. 6. Pets accepted! A huge bonus. 7. Kitchen was fully stocked w plates, flatware, glasses

Clean and lovely decor. Awesome views! It was nice to have my pet, but would have loved to have him enjoy sitting by the pool with us. We knew the law about going to the beach with them but still would have been nice to sit with them outside.

Very nice condo, enjoyed hearing the surf from the bedroom and living room. We had a slight electrical problem pop up and the owner took care of it immediately!We had a great stay!

Even though there is no balcony to sit on, you are so close to the beach that the view is still amazing. We loved being so close to the beach and not having to wait long or fight over carts, beach chairs or elevators. It was a very safe and homey feeling at Aqua Villa.There was no dishwashing liquid or dish rags to hand wash dishes, only 1 roll of paper towels and 2 garbage bags. No cleaning spray either so be prepared.In saying this, we would stay here over and over. It was a great condo!

The condominium itself was exactly as described, and overall, everything was great. However, while the listing mentioned the property was pet-friendly, there really wasn’t a designated area for dogs to relieve themselves, which made it a bit inconvenient.Inside, the floors hadn’t been recently mopped, so walking barefoot left our feet dirty. On our last day, the refrigerator stopped working, which caused our ice packs and food for the trip home to melt.The condo offered some great features, and the views of the beach, sunrise, and sunset were unobstructed!!

I recently stayed at a property listed on VRBO that was advertised as “luxury,” but my experience was the exact opposite. The photos and description did not line up with the reality of the unit.From the moment we arrived, the property was in unacceptable condition:•Cleanliness: The baseboards and fans had months of built-up dust, there was dust throughout the unit, and the bedding was stained and mismatched with no bed skirts. Mattresses were exposed and dingy. We also discovered a toilet bowl brush with toilet paper stuck to it placed next to towels under the sink — completely unsanitary.•Appliances: The dishwasher did not work and had a terrible smell.•Furniture/amenities: The listing promised a futon/couch, but neither existed. Sleeping arrangements were not as advertised. The unit looked “put together” in the photos, but in person it was broken down and poorly maintained.•Other issues: We saw a cockroach during our stay. Beach supplies were broken and mixed in with cleaning products. Smoking was happening throughout the property with no one regulating it.VRBO asked us to wait until the following day for someone to clean, but by that time we had already cleaned just to make the space livable. Despite reporting these issues, I received no meaningful support from VRBO and never heard back from the property owner once I gave the final review. If an owner refuses to respond, VRBO should step in — otherwise, renters are left with no help and no recourse.

Nice gulf front stay. Just steps to beach. Deccent pool but it closes at dusk. One of very few gulf front that allows dogs.

It was a beautiful location. The room was absolutely the cleanest I have ever stayed at. The beach is beautiful. Would stay here again. The only thing is the laundry room was out of order. But we went to a near by laundry mat. It wasn't a deal breaker. The owner was great to work with. Perfect vacation.

Love the location. Quiet, but convenient. There are restaurants close by, convenience store right behind the condo, and right on the beach. With it being a smaller building the beach is not crowded at all. The beach umbrella/chairs service is fantastic. The unit had plenty of space and everything our family of five needed. There are some cosmetic flaws, but it more than served the purpose we were looking for. The condo unit is on the 4th floor providing amazing views. Unfortunately the elevator was out, this was communicated a few days ahead of time. We were told by others that it’s rarely working. For our family we managed, but older renters will want to check about this. Moving in and out with luggage/coolers is a workout. The laundry is not in the unit, each floor has a set, but for our stay the washer was not working on the 4th or 3rd floor (no elevator) meant we had to use the 2nd floor. Again, maybe check before you book if this is a necessity. These are things our of the owner’s control, but might be important to future guests.

This condo is in the perfect location, only steps from the beach, and close to restaurants. The owners are amazing and extremely quick to reapond.

Was very happy with this location and the amenities.

First and foremost, the unit was great, it was clean and comfortable. No issues with it at all, but will let future renters know a couple things. First the couch shown isnt the one in the unit and its a tad smaller. The bedroom with the two beds is the one with a master bath, seems that it should of been off the king sized bed but it is facing the parkinglot not the ocean. Other than that and the laundry is by the the non working elevator and not in the unit, that is all. Now the only major downfall was the elevator but that is on me, it was listed as not working and I doubt it will be fixed this season from what I heard the tenets talking about and that leads to the biggest issue. It may have been for my time only but I believe there are a few full time tenets and they run the pool area. From seven am till midnight, they and their blue tent are there. The grills are totally taken over, they leave their tools and seasonings an plates on them all the time, the music and loud voices are non stop. Im not a prude and if they were friendly it might of been different. But they sit with the manager and hangout an run the pool area all day. But hey, there is an ocean 100' away. So overall the unit is great, the location is nice, the ocean is right there and if you dont want to use the pool an relax by it, then it is a great rental. The rental company was very nice and I had no issues with check in or out.

Nice location very clean and close to everything

Our stay was great. Close to restaurants and beach is not a far walk. We didn't realize there wasn't a private balcony though. It's just a walkway. Elevator was down but we were told in advance and could have made other arrangements.
