Assateague Inn 111 by Seaside Vacations & Sales

The property is NOT AT ALL what it looks like from photos. The building is old and kind of “ghetto”. The parking area was very poor and we ended up parking in the mud as the grass was all torn up. The host communicated with us but we decided not to stay and went to a local hotel instead as the property was THAT BAD! There was something running down the wall in the bathroom. The host said they would have come to clean it up the 2nd day of the stay had we communicated it to them. In my opinion it should have been clean when we arrived rather than leave it unclean and have to alert them to come clean it. I wouldn’t recommend booking this place!! If you do I have a feeling you will regret it!!

The unit is in need of some basic upgrades. Lights in the kitchen and the bedroom are not good. No shades and ceiling fixture mounted on the wall. No dishwasher.

There was no dishwasher, the coffeemaker didn't work, the floor was filthy as soon as you walked barefoot after a shower, the bottom of your feet were black. It was poorly appointed with one dishtowel and given that there was no dishwasher, we were apprehensive how well the dishes were washed by previous occupants. The metal bed squeaked so much it was difficult to sleep. The fitted sheet on the queen bed kept coming off to reveal the cheap plastic protector underneath. We will definitely not be coming back.

It was all we needed. No frills, but in a great location and the pool was wonderful.

Very clean, comfortable rooms, and great staff! Pool was open, but could use a few umbrellas for shade. Stream by the side of the building needs a clean-up.

Excellent location, perfect size for two adults. Easy check in/out procedure. Only negative was lots of flies in room when we checked in and no one working front desk we could communicate with.

I’ve been staying on the island for almost 20 years at various hotels and private rentals 1-2 times a year. I consider myself a tenured vacationer to the island. This was a huge disappointment. I usually rent a private small home for as much as it cost for this rental. Most small homes don’t include amenities such as linens and a pool. The deciding factor for this trip was a pool since it was a shorter stay, so I chose Assateague Inn. After the refund period was over they decided to let me know that the pool wasn’t ready. When we arrived it looked like the pool was new construction and not nearly close to being done.They advertised on vrbo that linens were provided, but they expect you to use the same towels for the entire stay unless you go out of your way to ask for clean replacements. Buyer beware. I will definitely spend my money elsewhere next time.

Had a great stay in this unit! Very clean, bed in primary room was comfy. The bike path is right at the Inn and a short ride to all the places on Maddox Blvd (Island Creamery, Amarin, Maui jacks etc). The deck overlooked the marsh which was a lovely view. The only thing I'd warn people about is the second bedroom room is also the dining room and kitchen. Worked totally fine for my daughter and I, but if my husband and son had come I think it would've been too small.. But a family of 3 or with 2 kids under ten years I think it's great.

Had a very good experience at the property except the floors needed a good cleaning...Couldn't walk with bare feet without them getting dirty.

We were really looking forward to our stay, but unfortunately, our experience was far from positive. Since it was the off season, we were hoping to relax in the evenings and watch something, but there was no internet available for several days. This meant we couldn’t stream anything to watch at night, which was especially frustrating. We informed the company the night we arrived, but nothing was done to resolve the issue during our stay.The air conditioning was also extremely noisy, making it difficult to sleep. When we raised this concern with the staff, we were told, “no one else has complained,” which felt dismissive and made us feel like our concerns weren’t being taken seriously. Despite following up, nothing was addressed for three days.Because of these unresolved issues, we decided to leave a day early. When I informed the complex of our early departure and the reasons why, there was no apology or offer of compensation. Overall, the lack of service and attention to our concerns was very disappointing. I would not recommend staying here.

It’s a good location. Property is clean. We enjoyed our visit.

Had a great time

We were pleased with what we found! The space was exactly as advertised and we really liked the fact that the bedroom was completely separate from the kitchenette and second bed. The two bathrooms we also great since it was my wife and I, our daughter and her best friend. The separate space for the adults was super! The cost of the room per night was very reasonable for it being the off season.

Nice property,clean…Not as described,said it had twin beds,but it was a twin with trundle,,Rooms big enough for 2 but not for 3.

The sheets did not stay on the mattress. Every morning I woke up on plastic. I had to remake the bed every morning. Other than that, the stay was very nice.

We loved our accommodations. It was as listed. We had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. This place is so close to so many great restaurants, shops & great Ice Cream. We road all over the Island to explore and enjoyed this. We also took advantage of the great pool. We would definitely stay there again.

Nice little apartment for my wife and myself. It was close to all the things we wanted to do.

Just as described, suited our needs well

This listing is two very small efficiency rooms joined. 1 has a kitchenette and 1 has a bedroom. For 2 separate adults this isn't feasible as 1 of the 2 rooms with the kitchenette has a small daybed for a small child in the kitchen. The toilet compartments are only about 18 inches wide and not suitable for an adult man 200 pounds unless you like to do things standing up. the pool was very dirty and unattractive and the deep water fishing xhannel is 3 inches deep. if you are looking just for somewhere to sleep its not horrible but certain comforts leave to be desired.

Easy to find and access. The dock was enjoyable with wildlife. Tha accommodation was clean and spacious for 3 adults. Nice walking paths to food and fun and shops. Definitely plan to stay again.
