Richmond, Virginia
Beautiful second story walk-up apartment situated in historic Jackson Ward on the cusp of the Arts District. Built in 1910 with exposed brick and historic charm, this apartment is outfitted by local interior design firm and has been remodeled with beautiful touches and modern kitchen and bathroom amenities. includes 1 queen bed, leather sofa, an in-unit washer and dryer, deck, gas range, dishwasher, ceiling fans, original art, security system and off-street parking. Walking distance to the convention center, The National, VCU, The Quirk, Belle Isle, and several galleries and restauarants.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, so many pros. Very central location directly across from the Convention Center yet quiet at night. The checkin process was contactless and smooth, as was the checkout. We did need to contact the host who responded quickly and was pleasant and professional. The apartment was stylish and super comfortable; attention to detail was apparent and it was well stocked (we really appreciated the tea kettle as we are a tea drinking family, not coffee - this was our first rental with one!) The water pressure was great, hot water flowed well. The bed slept well even though we prefer firm, I believe the bed will meet most people’s preferences- I’d say it’s medium firm; great linens for bed and bath. All kitchen items, nice dishes and utensils… on and on. This will be my first choice when I visit Richmond in the future.
Everything was great, my only problem was finding the door to the apartment which is a little confusing in the listing. If the listing is updated to make it more clear where to enter, it’ll be perfect. Heat works well, bed is comfy, and it’s easy to walk to anything downtown :)
