from oceanfront, beautifully decorated, remodeled, in the heart of Kaanapali proper. Beautiful Beaches and beachfront walking path. Please call the owner to discuss. We are more than happy to assist with any questions you may have.
Enjoy a true Hawaiian vacation as you sit on your private lanai and relax in the tropical breezes with the sounds of the surf and enjoy the beautiful ocean views of Lanai and Ka’anapali Beach, one of the top ten rated beaches worldwide. You will be treated to the views of whales (November thru April) , dolphins and exquisite Hawaiian Sunsets as you relax. Located on the 9th floor one from ocean front, you truly have private oceanfront views. The condo’s lanai offers outstanding views of Lanai, Ka’anapali beach and the West Maui Mountains. Enjoy relaxing on the lanai in the island breeze as you drink your morning coffee or evening cocktails and listen to the sounds of the surf.
You will also see the beautiful catamarans sailing through the ocean through out the day. It is most enjoyable to watch the whale watching, snorkel and sunset cruises pull up right in front. At night, during happy hour, you can sit on the lanai and listen to live Hawaiian music at Hula Grill right next door. On weekends you can listen to Leilei's rock bands during Happy hour, also center court whalers village has some, hula/ live music entertainment that you can hear ( scheduling is determined monthly ). Whalers village and restaurants close At 10:00 p.m. nightly. We have enjoyed the live entertainment. In the evening the tiki torches and breaking surf in front is mesmerizing . During the day check out towels from the beach activity kiosk and spend your days relaxing on beautiful beaches with crystal clear waters that are perfect for swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing and jet-skiing.
If you are a golf aficionado, the Royal Ka’anapali course (36 holes) is a short walk across the street or with a short drive you can be at The Village and Plantation, where they hold the PGA Mercedes Championship every year.
The Whaler, a premier condominium resort, is located boasts impressive amenities that include a concierge, newly remolded pool and hot tub, spacious lobby, fully equipped fitness center, tennis courts, as well as gas barbecues with ocean views.
Whaler’s Village is a short walk from the Whaler and offers shopping and fine dining along the 2 mile promenade that runs parallel to the beach. It is also a brief stroll to Black Rock beach where it’s a perfect place to swim with turtles or watch the cliff divers entertain in the evening. Lahaina, a historic whaling village, located a short ways away via a free trolley has additional indoor/ outdoor fine dining and shopping.
This one bedroom and two baths, 1,118 sq. ft. including a 213 sq. ft. lanai, condo is located on the 9th floor south side, with some of the most incredible views you will find on Maui. Hawaiian décor throughout, you will really get a feel for island living.
Our remodeled kitchen and bathroom offer custom high end cabinetry, travertine marble tile work and lighting. The kitchen is equipped with new stainless steel appliances as well as high-end custom cabinetry and quartz counter tops. The newly remolded bathroom has custom marble counter tops and travertine marble tile work.
This condo can easily sleep 4 with a king sized bed in the bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room, and a futon. There are 2 flat screen TVS with cable, HBO, DVD player, WIFI internet access and a phone. there are washer dryer units on each floor next to the elevators. They are free to use. Just bring your own laundry soap. There is not an in unit washer / dryer available to use .We also offer1 boogie boards, 1 ice chests, and 2 beach chairs to get your vacation off to a quick beach day start! The Whaler charges a 35.00 per day resort fee which includes parking,, pool towels and coffee every morning as well as a state of the art fitness center. Free WIFI.

    This condo was gorgeous and extremely cleanly with incredible amenities and a beautiful ocean view. The host was very communicative and attentive to any questions or needs we had. We would certainly come back!

    We really like the complex and have stayed there before, and while we were generally satisfied with the condo, we were disappointed with two things. The view from the lanai of the whaler’s village restaurant roofs and smells, and second, the master bathroom was a bit dated and the washing machine was out of order and I had to fix the toilet.

    Amazing property and super responsive host! The unit was simply spectacular. The location, right on Kaanapali beach next to the Whaler shopping center, shopping, restaurants just a few short steps. The unit had expansive lanai with views of sunset and sunrise, plus a choice of seating lounger, table and hi top. Plenty of beach and pool toys, chairs, umbrellas. And the interior was very well equipped and designer inspired decor, plus two full bathrooms - his and hers!! Beyond our expectations, didnt want to leave already planning our next visit.

    Condo was very nice, location was good but Kaanapali is exceedingly crowded. Can't count on walking into any restaurant without reservations and even with them there is a wait time. Food good, great beach with several catamarans docking on the beach. Only negative for me was the crowd, many ill-tempered.

    We have been to the Whaler many times and will continue to go back. However, I need to mention that communication with the owner Judy was fantastic. She was extremely helpful in every way. We will be returning to her condo! If you haven't stayed at the Whaler or Kaanapali Beach before, you are in for a treat. It's the best Maui has to offer without it being bugie like the Wailea area. Super convenient, next to Whalers village for shopping and restaurants but also like home with a BBQ area to make your own great meals. It's our happy place.

    Very nice hawaii themed decor, some things were hand crafted and arranged so nice on the walls. Bed was comfortable, bathrooms nice also. Great view of the ocean on the lanai with comfortable chairs and table, and beach chairs available for taking to the beach. weather was lovely in November. We walked to the shops at Whaler village and enjoyed many of the restaurants nearby. We hope to return!

    This is our 3rd time staying at the Whaler. We love the staff and location. The ease of being so close to the beach and restaurants just helps us get in our vacation mode quickly. Already looking forward to our next stay here.

    We loved having the space of a full kitchen. Bought groceries and cooked in the unit and also at the BBQs below. With a family... 2 bathrooms is a must. Floor to ceiling windows provided fantastic views from the balcony which felt like we were 'at the beach from above' while relaxing and eating meals outside. Were there some smells once in a while from the Hula Grill below? Yes. But not that big of a deal for us. Music from below too? Yes. We enjoyed it. Host was on point with good communication. Had an excellent stay! Recommended.

    To preface, we have high expectations since we take a lot of pride in our own home. I’ll try to keep the pros and cons as simple as possible Pros: Had great view of ocean from deck Location next to Whalers Village is perfect and also close to Black Rock 2 bathrooms is definitely a perk. Con’s/unexpected Unit is in south side of blinding 2 which is right next to Hula Grill and so you smell the food from the restaurant most of the day and there is also a hum that takes away the sound of the ocean We had bugs in the cabinet to the right of the microwave and under the stove/dishwasher Had WiFi issues a couple of times where we had to call maintenance Dishwasher also wouldn’t turn off one night no matter what we did. Housekeeper came the next day and apparently the unit reset because when she did the same things we did the night before, it worked but at the end of that cycle, there was a bunch of water on the floor so we just stopped using it. Unit needed a deep clean Some of unit has been updated which is what you see in the pictures but not all of it has. The bathroom off the bedroom looks like it probably did back in the 90s. The overhead ceiling fluorescent lights were a little much The linens were few and there’s not any extra blankets Know that this is an owner operated unit so there is no housekeeping service, you have to get a hold of the owner if you have any issues and you will get charged a daily resort fee from Whalers too. We will not pick this unit again.

    Our stay was very nice and comfortable. The view from balcony was spectacular! We were in an excellent location for shopping and food. And, Kaanapali beach was beautiful!
