Amazing Condo at the Base of the Ski Mountain

The walk to the Steamboat Gondola lift line takes 6 minutes, and there are no stairwells from the condo to the lift - I call that ski in/out. Property is not new with fancy, modern decor. But everything about it works great. Ski locker right outside your door. Stocked kitchen so you can cook at home a couple of nights. Nooks to keep your ski boots, helmets, etc right inside the front door. A nice family/dining room with big table for your meals, board games, and stuff. Always a parking space if you go out to dinner. Hot tub & pool are well-maintained and just a few steps from your unit. And the hosts respond immediately. You should stay here.

The condo was overall nice, well-decorated and in a good location. Communication before our stay was helpful and gave us the necessary details. Unfortunately, there was no hot water our first night or the following morning, so we all suffered through rather brief and uncomfortable cold showers. While the property owner tried to appease us by promising that he would refund us for the first night, we haven't heard anything in the week since our stay, and we haven't received any type of refund.

The beds could use updating as they offer no support. None of the Direct TVs worked but we could stream on only 1 of them. The support information was very limited. If TVs don't work call support which is what everyone on vacation wants to do with their time. The kitchen faucet wobbled in its housing. My suggestion would be to check out the amenities and shape to the unit before having guests stay.

It was our second time here. You can’t beat the location. It’s an easy walk to the base. My kids love the pool and hot tubs. The renovations since our last visit were a nice surprise.

This was our second time staying at the West, but our first at this rental. Everything about it was great and met expectations. The unit is updated throughout. The kitchen has everything we needed, including a large Crockpot. The large bag of coffee waiting for us on arrival was really appreciated. Bathrooms are modernized and very nice. Beds and furniture are very comfortable. Plenty of TVs. Walk-out back patio was also great to have during warmer days. Very convenient and easy walk to lifts and the bus transit area. We were able to easily walk back to unit for lunch every day. It’s a lower level unit, so getting in/out with boots is pretty easy and there are just a few steps. The exterior ski locker was also a big plus.

This was a great place. The location was amazing and the place was very nice. Very comfortable beds and cozy hot tub towels were a nice bonus.The host was very communicative and responded quickly.

Very good, oonly complaint is snowplows at night!

I took my two kids to Steamboat for a few days of skiing. The unit was outstanding and made our trip very enjoyable. The unit's proximity to the base area, along with the ease of check-in, parking, and coordination with Aaron, made it a property we would definitely want to visit again.

Owners were very responsive. Unit was wonderful. One switch to turn on the gas fireplace was fabulous!

Great location!!! Easy walk to the Steamboat Gondola, restaurants and rental equipment. The condo has been newly renovated and was very clean. You can enjoy the view of the ski slopes from the living room. We had a fantastic week!

This condo was perfectly situated for our family. It’s right across the street from Ski Time Square. It is nicely updated, very clean, and had everything we needed. We cooked several meals in the kitchen which is well stocked. Hosts were very communicative. We’re likely to book this place again!

This was a very convenient condo for skiing. A very quick walk to the main base.The condo was clean, well appointed and freshly redone.

I stayed here with my 2 grown sons last week. Everything about the stay was perfect. It was an easy walk to the lifts and the bus stop when we wanted to go downtown. The condo had all the little conveniences we needed and then some!

The condo was in a great location at the base of the mountain with easy access to the resort and downtown via public transport! Couldn’t recommend more.
