Amazing 2 Story Oceanfront Penthouse

We stayed here for a recent event, and unfortunately the property did not match the listing or expectations.While building exterior construction was disclosed, there was no communication that the unit itself was impacted. Both oceanfront balconies (one of the primary reasons we booked) were completely closed and unusable.There were also multiple maintenance, safety, & cleanliness concerns:- Exposed electrical outlets (multiple)- Primary bedroom sliding door does not function- Jetted tub was not usable (insufficient hot water, discolored water, and breaker trips when jets turn on) - Items left behind in drawers, including condoms and unmarked pills - Damaged ceilings and floorsThere was no advance communication about the condition of the unit. These issues were a surprise upon arrival, and we immediately searched for alternative accommodations. Due to NCA/NDA week, no comparable options were available.We communicated these concerns during our stay. The most disappointing part was the lack of response and accountability. Safety issues were not addressed, and our concerns were dismissed rather than resolved.Positives:- Kitchen stocked with basic spices - Washer/dryer in unit with starter supplies - Toiletries provided - Beach items available in the garage - Grounds crew were exceptionally friendlyThere are ocean front properties of similar size at significantly lower price points, making the value here difficult to justify.

It’s a lovely place and the location is nice. There are improvements that need to be made especially in the kitchen. Possibly damage from a hurricane.

Our host Valerie was amazing with her quick responses to any questions we had. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the unit was clean and well stocked. All balconies were actually closed off and not useable, which was quite unfortunate. That wasn't mentioned in the listing. I looks as though they are in the process of replacing all windows and doors, which is great bur they had the factory film still on them which did not make for a clear view. The building itself is aged and in need up maintenance. Only 1 elevator was working and one day/night BOTH elevators were out of service so it was 19 floors up and down bringing in groceries and personal items, making several trips. We selected this unit because of the location and the oceanfront access, but again I feel as though the price should have reflected the lack of outdoor access. Next year when we come back, we will definitely look to book with Valerie, just at one of her other properties. I feel horrible that we loaded the dishwasher but failed to start it in a rush to start driving north to beat the ice storm.

The condo was great. Top floor with a great view. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Daytona beach.

We stayed here six days for an event at the Ocean Center.Pros: right next to the beach. Nice pool. Lots of beach toys (boogie boards, pool noodles). Designated underground parking spot with garage door opener. Lots of balcony space. Overall very clean. The property owner was very responsive and gave detailed information.Cons: the refrigerator has an unpleasant smell to it, causing some of our food to not be edible. There is construction going on. The microwave doesn’t always work due to the construction but that is being fixed. The property looks larger in the photos. Overall a nice place, especially if you enjoy the beach.

Great time with wonderful amenities for a group of friends with a place for everyone to sleep.

This property is exactly how it is described on the listing. You have everything you need and more and it has absolutely gorgeous views. Valerie was very easy to work with and made the experience smooth. Thank you for providing a beautiful unit!

Although, we had a great time during our stay in Daytona and the condo. There are a few things that would have made it better. First, I will say the interior of the condo was nicely decorated and clean. The view was fantastic and the pool area was beautifully maintained. However, both balconies needed a lot of cleaning. They were littered with rodents and bird droppings and the patio furniture needed to be repaired or replaced. Both posed health and safety hazards. The construction of the building (was noted in the description) was unsightly and the noise was unbearable at times. My family and I did enjoy the beach and loved the proximity to the shops.

We loved the place great views and plenty of room. Beach chairs were all broken wish we would have brought our own. A lot of the outdoor furniture was rotted and unusable. Other than that we had a great time!

Great location, a little challenging with the parking situation with a handicap but we managed. The property (not the unit) was undergoing storm damage repairs but did not affect our enjoyment of the property.
