All-New, Waterfront Condo Near Downtown Sarasota

This unit was perfect for my husband and me. The location was so convenient--very close to downtown, to the Van Wezel, to Ringley, to the UTC mall, and to Bay Park. It was super clean, the kitchen was very well-equipped, and the laundry (full-size washer and dryer) was great. We loved the view and sitting on the balcony. The entry instructions were a bit complicated but Great Stay's communications were excellent. The second bedroom is extremely small, but worked well for our daughter who visited for a few days. This gets our highest recommendation! We'd love to return!

Great property great view and beautiful sunsets. So close to downtown yet not right in the middle of all the traffic. Property manager was exceptional answered every question within five minutes very responsive! Will definitely stay again if needed.

Met all of our needs for a week long stay. Clean. Modern. Full kitchen. Washer and dryer. Access to pool, hot tub and gym. Quiet. Beautiful water views. Close to restaurants and shopping. Will definitely be back!

This is a two-part review...the condo itself was lovely...clean, comfy, cozy, very well and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed, gorgeous view. The condo itself is 5 star and highly recommended. The sign up and lack of a key advertised amenity along with the responsive but not helpful property manager replies were frustrating. For signing up, be prepared to fill out an HOA form similar to an apartment lease and to provide the form and your ID to the property manager via VRBO messaging. The elevator...which we were very reliant upon and paid a premium to have as an amenity was not functioning....literally two minutes prior to check in the property manager informed us it was temporarily out of order. In speaking with neighbors it has been out of order for more than 7 weeks with no clear answer regarding repairs...this should have been disclosed. Overall, The Strand is a great, secure community with a beautiful view and nice location.

Stayed for a week with my teenage son. The condo is exactly as pictured and had everything that we needed. The complex was quiet and well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this property.

We stayed for about two weeks and the condo was great, along with the location. Complex was quiet and management company was very responsive. Had a hiccup with the front gate at check-in, but after that was sorted out we just put our driver's license in the gate machine for quick entry each time. Having a covered parking spot was very nice to have in the summer heat.

We really enjoyed the location of this condo. It was close to downtown Sarasota. The condo offers a great view of the private boat marina on the property. The condo was fresh and modern. The pool and neighborhood were calm and quiet. The technology used to manage access was very convenient. The property management company was very responsive. Would love to stay here again.

We enjoyed the location and balcony overlooking the canal. I gave it 4 stars because of just small things that would have made it perfect. For example, no dish drain (there is a dishwasher but don’t always need that) and no broom or Dustbuster so had to live with crumbs and dirt on the floor for 13 days. Did have a great washer dryer. Bedrooms were small so beds took up most of the space, making it a little hard to get around without knocking into something.

Good experience .. enjoyed exploring local sights and everything very close … Downside 2nd bedroom with double .. small with no window or closet !!!

Unit is just as advertised - it is new, clean and has everything that you need during your visit. Gym is awesome. Location is great - complex is quiet and very secure. Great neighbors!
