Northside Park is only half a mile north, where you can take in fireworks displays, rent kayaks and paddleboards, go crabbing and fishing off the pier, ride bikes, and attend such special events as Sundaes in the Park (with live entertainment and sundae-making for adults and children every Sunday night in July and August).
