Chestertown, New York
Great spot in the Adirondacks walking distance to a beautiful private lake. Close to Gore and West Moun ski areas. Lots of outdoor activities nearby, hiking, golf, horse back riding and amument Park. Tennis, pickle ball, volley ball, basketball and booche ball courts on premises.
Charming decor, 2baths, well stocked kitchen. Upstairs bedroom lovely, fans only, skylights. Outside meticulously cared for, many flowers & bird feeders. Deck, Pristine lake, steepish hill to get to.
We really enjoyed our stay at the condo. The owner was really easy to reach and responded to our questions very quickly. The place has a nicely equipped kitchen for meal preparation. The only minor inconvenience we experienced was a dryer that was not working, which we would have appreciated knowing in advance. Overall a great stay!
Relaxing
Great area. Nice lake and beach. The listing address on VRBO is 110 not sure that’s correct. Took me a minute to find it. It’s actually 10 or building 10 which is in the description in the listing.
Good location for exploring area. Unit was quiet ad had everything we needed.
Like other reviews, the bedroom was very warm. The cleaning fee was absurd and there’s written instructions to take out the recyclables/garbage, taking all linens and putting them in them in front of the laundry machine, and loading the dishwasher with anything used so it is unclear why the cleaning fee is so expensive.
We really like it the place. We had a great time. The place have everything what you need. The contact with owner is very easy and he is very helpful. We will be back.
The property was just as advertized. Very quiet and convenient to Chestertown, Warrensburg and Lake George. If you're a bicyclist, Route 9 between Chestertown and Warrensburg is an excellent route.
I was very pleased with the owner. His responses were quick and he was very accommodating. The condo was clean and adequately stocked. The major problem we encountered is that it was 95 degrees and the only air conditioner was located on the ground floor and was inadequate to cool down the condo especially the bedroom which is located on the second floor. The only window in the room was a small skylight which provided no relief. Thoughtfully, fans were provided but again offered little relief from the heat. My biggest disappointment was the misrepresenting of the access to the lake. There is no rear door in the condo , no outside rear patio and not only no view of the lake but no access to it at all from the condo. In fact you can't even walk around the rear of the condo because of a steep drop. I was looking forward to relaxing and enjoying a peaceful view.
We found this place a great value for how long we stayed. There everything you could think of stocked in bathrooms and kitchens, except tissues. Overall we enjoyed our weekend getaway!
No hassles, everything you need is here…relax and enjoy!
Had a very nice time great place great location
We had a great time at Tripp Lake! The private beach area was perfect. The condo could use a few updates, but it was perfect for our family.
Might plan another trip next year ? Great place
Our experience was absolutely wonderful. We loved the community feel; everyone was so helpful and friendly. The private beach was just gorgeous and perfect for swimming. Only about 20 minutes from the town of Lake George. We loved every second of our trip.
Apartment looked as advertised, and was spacious for 2 (I believe the couch may be convertible and, if so, the 2nd full bathroom comes in handy!!!). The warmer months give access to the community’s private beach, water craft, and tennis courts. Only about 25 minutes from Lake George Village or Bolton Landing. Very worth it for the price of rental!
