Stayed Feb 12, 2026The unit is clean & listed as said. Location is great. I rented the unit for Pres weekend (A holiday). I was 2 days past the 50% refund deadline when I was notified of the mandated work order for my profession due to the nursing strike at Kaiser, Jan-Feb 2026. I immediately notified Luke & asked if I could please cancel with some sort of a refund due to this extenuating circumstance of an essential worker. I have multiple listings on VRBO in San Diego, and I travel often. I have never encountered a host who lacked courtesy in a situation like this, especially toward essential workers. As a host, what I do for a guest is open up the listing & if it gets booked, I give the tenant their money back. I want to help. I understand situations happen. I believe in at least trying. I explained the entire situation to Luke. His answers were careless, short & to the point: No, never offering alternatives, even though I would offer solutions to the problem. I asked Luke to rebook for other times or even to keep the money until next year to book me a year in advance. Luke would answer with little regard, offer no options & would at times simply not respond. I am a single parent with 2 boys & an essential worker, attempting to ensure proper patient care. The Supervisor of VRBO customer care helped, but their hands were tied b/c Luke would never answer their calls or emails. VRBO has written me multiple emails apologizing for this experience. They, too, were in shock at his lack of care.

Stayed Jan 29, 2026Several things - first the location so close to Payday lift. The condo was well stocked and clean! The host was very responsive and checked in to see how things were going. Also it was a real benefit to let us leave our car parked at the condo until 4pm the day of check out. Overall a very enjoyable and comfortable stay!

Stayed Feb 1, 2025This apartment is so close to Park City Base - you can put on your gear and be at the lift in 5 minutes, walking. The bedroom has a large picture window looking up the mountain, so you lie in bed drinking coffee, looking at the weather and then, just, go. Loungeroom is nice with a big TV and a gas fireplace. Kitchen is small but well stocked with everything you might want to cook. A lovely place for two people to enjoy being on the mountain. The main bus stop is 80m away and you can easily get to the supermarket, wine store and Main St by bus. A perfect place to base yourself and ski Park City.

Stayed Dec 4, 2024We enjoyed our stay at Acorn Chalet. It was very clean, the kitchen was well equipped, the bed was comfortable and the location was very convenient to Park City and the bus routes. It was nice to have a washer and dryer as well. The only suggestion would be the inclusion of some power strips, as the number of outlets was a bit limited.

Stayed Dec 27, 2023This place is the perfect Park City destination! We were able to walk to the slopes (5 min walk), grocery store (10 min walk), and downtown Park City (15 min walk). Everything is close by and extremely convenient. We definitely plan on returning to the Chalet in the future. Thanks Park City Host!

Stayed Apr 5, 2023Great location. We took an Uber from SLC airport and never rented a car. We walked to the grocery store (10 Min each way), walked to downtown PC (15 Min each way) and to the ski lifts (5 min). Can't beat the location. Older condo with an updated kitchen. Great TV and internet connection. Single bathroom is badly out of date and needs to be renovated. Bed and bedding is comfortable. We did not spend much time at the condo so it was all we needed.

Stayed Mar 18, 2023This place was as advertised. Great location! Would not recommend for more than 2 people. The lockers were convenient. The laundry room seemed convenient, but we didn't use it. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed (can opener, spatulas, sharp knives, etc) - Tupperware would have been really useful - but we used pots with lids to hold leftovers in fridge. Could not get the temperature quite right, but we made it work. Thanks for a great stay! Would definitely recommend the host!
