Our condos are OCEANFRONT with a private balconies wide enough to accommodate seating.
Please ask any other owners about their balconies- the #1 complaint we hear from guests who have stayed with other owners is that they were not told that balconies were standing room only or public walkways... and not a private balcony -- Please be aware of the difference and ask before renting -- do not be disappointed !!

Nice beach view room. Plenty of amenities, I.e. cups, plates, toaster, stove. Beds were comfy and the hotel part had several pools and spas.
Wish the owner had let us know how high the beds were in the description of the condo. My husband had to purchase a step stool in order for me to get in bed. I hate that some people put the beds on risers & don't mention it in the description. Floors were sandy and dirty when we arrived. Had to vacuum & mop. I'm not used to this as a first impression. Everything else was fine.
parking garage was closed and they gave us parking out front with security
Great stay all around.
Very nice and clean and comfortable beds, We just couldn’t go to the beach or use the pool because of the weather
Our room was very clean, and it had everything we could possibly need. We will certainly stay there again!
We loved our stay here. I would say it's a little small for a family of 4, but overall we had a great time.
When you first enter the hotel, the check-in was very simple, but the hotel staffer was not pleasant at all. Few smiles to be found. The elevators usually smelled of body odor except for one day when it was obvious it was cleaned. When you step into the hallway from the elevator into the hallway to the room, it smelled as well. Maybe it's the hotel showing its age. With that said, I am rating the room as very nice and for the most part exactly as we thought it would be. We are used to a king size bed, this one felt like a full/standard size bed. Although smaller than we would have liked, it was very comfortable sleeping. There are two beds so if you don't mind sleeping separately, it might be ideal for you. The kitchen area was well stocked with small appliances (no oven). utensils and dishes. The bathroom is well stocked with towels and other visitors have left behind shampoos, etc. in case you're in a pinch. One minor issue but was annoying; the bathroom sink is extremely slow to drain (the kitchen was not) Great water pressure in the shower. The shower curtain liner could stand to be changed to a new one. This one is showing its age. The balcony is very, very narrow. It does have two bar height stools to sit facing each other with no room to spare. There is no table to be able to place a drink/food if you wanted to enjoy some time on the balcony. One of the main reasons we liked the idea of this room was the hotel having a parking garage. When we arrived, we were greeted with notice that the parking garage is closed until further notice. Unless we missed it in prior written communications, it might have been nice to know this going in. Honestly, we might not have chosen this room for that reason. As a result, since there are few parking places directly in front of the hotel, there is a lot next door to the hotel that could be used but is shared with at least one other hotel. One night we were forced to park across the street in the Publix shopping center lot where there is a designated, but not secured area for hotel guests. This made us uncomfortable as you also had to walk across the street, at night, amidst noticeable homeless people, in the rain.
The process of renting the property was very simple. Check in was easy and access to the room was simple. The only difficult thing was parking. The parking desk was closed and some days we had to park a good distance frome the door.
Our room was great. Very clean. All amenities you would ever need! Great view and private balcony. Daytona Beach Resort itself is going downhill. The parking garage was closed which made parking and elevator rides a hassle. One of the elevators was not working the first couple days making wait times 5-25 minutes. The restaurant is closed, but you can still order food from the tiki bar, vey limited menu. This was our 5th stay at DBR and our least favorite.
The room was very clean and well stocked. The private balcony, while narrow, was just perfect for my husband and I. The sunrise and sunset views were breathtaking. We would stay here again.
