7 Mi to National Park: Grand Lake Condo w/ Deck!

The pictures were great but we should have looked closer at other reviews before booking. The property had great potential but was not very clean. The carpets and light colored couch were filthy, white towels were discolored and shower curtain should be replaced. The units kitchen was sparse and was missing basic kitchen items like like a liquid measuring cup and large Pyrex to make sweets. Parking was very tight with a midsized SUV and it was tough to back out between the garages and other vehicles.

Kitchen was fully equipped for cooking which we did every day. Mountain View to be had off the balcony or from the living room and the front bedroom is wonderful. Very convenient to the town of Grand Lake, and the Mountain Market for groceries and sundries. Just a few miles to the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park’s west gate. If you enter before 9 o’clock, no reservations are needed unless you want to do the Bear Lake complex. Many local trails are also abundant in the area. No need to go to the park every day for hiking. Very quiet neighborhood. We slept with the windows open every night. Elk and the Aspen did not disappoint. We will be back again next year for sure.

It was great for us. We had three grandkids with us, and needed two bathrooms.

We recently stayed in a second-floor condo in Grand Lake, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. The location was fantastic, just a 15-minute walk to downtown and Point Park, making it easy to explore the area.The check-in process was mostly smooth, although we encountered a minor issue with the parking pass not being in the condo. Fortunately, the host was responsive, and we were able to resolve it quickly.While the condo had many positives, cleanliness was an area that could use improvement. The oven and refrigerator could have been cleaner, and the carpets didn’t seem to be vacuumed well.On the plus side, the condo featured a nice kitchen, decent Wi-Fi, and a lovely deck overlooking a school playground. The variety of TV selections was also a nice touch.The overall comfort of the space was good; however, the bed was a bit too hard for my liking, though my husband found it perfect.I absolutely loved Grand Lake and the surrounding area, and I would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this condo for anyone looking to enjoy a comfortable stay in a great location!

We had the most perfect stay in Grand Lake! The location is walkable to everything in downtown Grand Lake. The space was spacious and perfect for gathering with friends!

We stayed for a weekend over the holidays. The unit was exactly as described. Check in process was easy.

The place was easy to find, comfy and clean, and a perfect location for our plans. The gas fireplace was very handy, as was the high chair which we hadn't planned on needing. We had forgotten to pack a few necessities, so my 2 daughters and I extra appreciated the nice shampoo and conditioner that was available. I personally was very happy that there was minimal decor and only hung on the walls out of kid-reach. The see-through metal stairs up to the unit (2nd floor) weirded out my 6-yo but with the ice on the ground I was glad for the extra grip! Only 2 minor things that weren't absolutely perfect for us were 1) it smelled quite musty when we first walked in but not horrible, nothing a little plugin or freshener couldn't fix. And 2, we never found a parking pass we supposedly needed to display, but the trip was so short it didn't become an issue. We would recommend this place and stay here again. Beautiful condo felt like home away from home!!

The property was exactly as described. In a safe, quiet neighborhood near downtown Grand Lake, but also only a few miles from the entrance to the Rocky Mountain National Park West entrance. The condo was clean and extremely comfortable. The kitchen as well laid out and easy to use with all the amenities. We enjoyed the use of the grill on the little porch and also the fireplace on one evening that was chilly. We will definitely stay there again

The condo was very comfortable. Walking distance to the town. Clean and upgraded. Will someday come back to this condo.

We had a great time at this condo in Grand Lake. Communication beforehand was very clear, and the property was as advertised. We especially appreciated the proximity to the grocery store! Overall this is a great location for someone who doesn't need to be lakefront to enjoy their time in GL.

The condo is exactly how it's listed. It's perfectly good but not great. The bed and pillows were excellent. The fireplace excellent. Showers great. Everything was very clean. The couches are old and super uncomfortable. When we got there, there was a horrible smell in the condo. It smelled like Asian cooking but very heavy on the oil. At first I thought that the previous people who rented the condo had done some serious cooking while they were there. We opened the sliding glass door and the smell was gone after a few hours. Later, I smelled it on the stairway. I think it's one of the neighbors.
