Island Winds East Units: During Spring Break, mid-May through mid-August, Labor Day, and the Shrimp Festival event, each unit is allotted one (1) parking pass, regardless of its size. Extra parking options are available offsite, and please note that these arrangements may be subject to change.
On-site paid parking is available and managed by the property's HOA. Parking passes can be purchased upon arrival and are valid for the duration of your stay. Please be sure to display the pass clearly on your driver's side dashboard at all times while on the property.

For the comfort and safety of all guests, U-hauls, trailers, boats, jet skis, buses, and similar vehicles are not permitted on the property.

    So are stay was great but a few things to say. 1. Stove had to be replaced 2. TV took 2 days to get to work 3. The kitchen pans need to be updated 4. Chairs on the patio need to be updated. 3 of chairs are old and when you have 6 people staying only 2 people can sit. 5. Need to let people know they need to bring a few things : Toilet paper, garage bags, dish soap and etc.. Other than the few things that happened we had an awesome time and the location was amazing. Will be looking to go back next year and hope to get the same condo.

    We arrived on Monday afternoon, and the thermostat was set on COOL at 75. We set the temperature at 70 and left the unit to go eat and hit the grocery store. When we got back, the temperature had RISEN to a balmy 78. It was warmer inside than it was outside, with the A/C on. The unit stayed between 78-80 degrees until Wednesday afternoon when it was finally fixed. This made sleeping rather uncomfortable. Also, upon arrival the unit absolutely reeked. It smelled like a combo of ashtray and a musty old building. After LOTS of Febreeze..3 cans to be exact..it was finally semi-odor free. It was so pungent all our clothes had to be washed the day after arrival. It is a smoke free unit, but it was very apparent someone had smoked in it. Other than those 2 issues, the location is perfect..the building is rather dated, though decent enough, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We were advised we'd be compensated for the A/C issue, but we'll have to wait and see. We're honestly undecided if we 'd stay there again.

    This condo was perfect for walking to shops, dining, and The Hangout. Next door to the public beach, our kids could play beach volleyball. However, maintenance had to come to our unit three separate times due to our leaky pipes down to the condo below us. That was a bummer, but the property is 40 years old.

    We enjoyed our spring break week here! Plenty of room for our family. Beautiful views and very short walk to the beach!! Would recommend!!
