5014 Turtle Point Villa by Akers Ellis Rentals

Our family had an amazing stay at this beautifully decorated & furnished condo. The beach is super easy to get to from the property. I would recommend renting bikes to take advantage of the island.

This light-filled villa is less than a 5 minute walk to the beach— perfect if you have small children with little legs like we do. The property is next door (literally) to The Sanctuary, making it a short walk to grab ice cream on a hot day or walk over for a date night at one of their fabulous restaurants. Our only (minor) inconvenience is that the washer/dryer is a small stackable unit that can only fit small loads. If you have a family, be prepared that you’ll need to do laundry more frequently than normal.

wonderful stay just a short walk to the beach, tennis, and Sanctuary the unit was nicely decorated with comfortable beds, I would stay there again.

We love Kiawah! The condo was clean and well furnished. The location was fantastic - a short walk to the beach with a 2 year old! It is next to the Sanctuary which is great for a short walk for ice cream and fine dining however you could hear traffic and air conditioning noise from the property. We’ve stayed many places on the island - this location was great but we like to sit outside at night and the noise was a little load compared to the typical peaceful nature sounds.

This villa exceeded our expectations in every way! The short 2 min walk to the uncrowded beach was very convenient. We loved the villa itself, it was peaceful sitting out on the balcony in the mornings and evenings. The sunroom was a great place to relax and hang out. This villa was beautifully decorated and had everything you would need for preparing meals there. The village market (7min drive) had everything we needed and more. We absolutely plan to stay here again.

Loved the extra sun room (no tv in this room though pics show otherwise). The location was very convenient for the beach. The villa is located next to the Sanctuary so there is some noise from delivery trucks. The master shower had a clogged drain but Akers Ellis responded very quickly and had it taken care of. We enjoyed a lot of bike riding all over the island, the beach, visiting the Nature Center, delicious take out from Cherrywood BBQ & Ale House and drinks at the Cougar Point Clubhouse. All in all a great week.

Reviewer Comments: From the time we made our reservation, in January, 2020, throughout our stay, March 29 to March 18, personnel from Akers Ellis were extremely responsive and helpful. As the COVID-19 situation developed we were in frequent contact with them. Because of our ages, health issues, and the 600 mile drive to return home, we needed to leave almost two weeks before our scheduled departure. The trip insurance we purchased did not consider the virus a covered event. However Akers Ellis issued us a full refund for the days not used. When we arrived the home was extremely clean. This was our 29th visit to Kiawah and 5014 Turtle Point is one of the nicest villas we have stayed in. It is beautifully furnished and has a very well-equipped kitchen, lots of natural light, and in an excellent location very close to the beach. We were extremely sad to leave, immensely appreciate Akers Ellis's support, and will rent with them again when the pandemic is over and our world returns to normal.
