404 Captain's Walk: Perfect 2BR/2Bth Oceanfront Condo

Nice condo. Nice location. Lots of noise Monday through Friday from a condo above us on the 4th floor apparently having renovations done. Table saw buzzing on the balcony all day long. Watcha gonna do?? Then 2 days of the walkways to the beach being re-painted. Not the condo owners fault but still impacted our quality of stay.

Tim communicated clearly and effectively. He left any and all information we needed to enjoy our stay. The condo is fantastic with an easy stroll to the beach. The condo had all the towels, beach chairs, and beach toys we needed to enjoy a relaxing trip.

Tim was very responsive to any concerns we had. The condo was clean and well appointed as described. Being so close to the ocean was best possible way to spend our Christmas vacation...along with the visit from the fawns!

Great ocean front location. Being on the first floor made it very easy for my older parents to navigate. Wonderful views from the patio and easy access to the beach.

You cannot beat the location! The first floor is extremely convenient for beach and pool access. It’s a short bike ride to Shelter Cove area. We enjoyed the mama deer and her 2 babies that visit daily. The beach was busy but we were able to set up our tent and have plenty of space. Overall great property and highly recommend.

404 Captains was everything we hoped for and more. The listing was as described and the location is perfect- walking steps to the beach ramp and the pool, but far enough to avoid the noise. There are some minor updates that would serve the listing well- new outdoor patio chairs, fixing the stair railing outside, getting new sliding doors, etc, but all those were minor inconveniences in an otherwise great stay.

We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the unit, how clean it was and how close it was to both the beach and the pool. It was so convenient to simply step outside and in two minutes you are on the beach. The owner was very helpful and cooperative and even stopped by in person to drop off some extra trash bags. The supplied beach chairs were nice to have. Our only suggestion for improvement would be to add another chair in the main living area, or even replace the existing chair with two matching chairs. Would definitely rent this unit again.

This location can’t be beat. Such an easy, quick walk to the beach and pool. Close to the Palmetto Dunes General store and the Dunes House. We’ve stayed in a lot of vacation rentals over the years and I’ve never come across one this well stocked for the guests. We had everything we needed for the week and then some. Check in/check out could not have been easier. Highly recommend.

This property was perfect for our multigenerational trip! Only a few to the beach and pool, quite complex, great location and very responsive owner when we had a question! Excellent stay!!!

The condo was clean and well maintained and well stocked with kitchen appliances and essentials, towels, and beach chairs. We traveled with our child who had his own room and bathroom, which was ideal. The best thing about this condo is the access to the beach. Literally steps away from the boardwalk. Super easy to return from the beach and rinse off everything before going inside. The whole resort property is nice with a gated entrance for safety, trails for walking and biking, and close to Kroger! I would love to stay here again!

We loved being on the first floor. Beach only steps away. Owner very responsive. Reasonably priced.Will definitely book again.

Great location, first floor, close to pool and a few steps to the beach! Condo is beautifully decorated and fully equipped! Beds were very comfortable and the master bedroom was very spacious! Everything was great, we were there for a month...it was like our home away from home!!!! Will definitely return!!

This was our 4th visit to Captain's Walk, and we again loved our stay. The villas we've rented have very nice layouts and are very well appointed and maintained. They also have great beach and pool access and great views of the ocean. But the best thing about our visits has been, and continues to be, the owner of the units we rent. He's always been very accommodating and very responsive when we have questions or requests. Further, his actions leave me with a strong impression that he's genuinely concerned with making sure his clients have the best possible experience during their stay. An A+++ experience across the board!!!

We had an awesome stay in Palmetto Dunes! The location can’t be beat and we were happy to find Tim’s place. The first floor location makes it super convenient to go to and from the beach and pool and the house had all the space we needed. Liked that there were beach chairs and towels as we had flown into town and couldn’t bring ours. Would definitely stay here again!

This property was exactly as described, it was very quick walk to the beach and pool. A nice plus was the deer that visited us in the evening by the porch. This rental provided everything we needed from kitchen supplies to beach chairs. This was a very peaceful location which made this so enjoyable. We would definitely return and recommend.
