This beautiful newly renovated penthouse condominium here at Marina Del Mar is perfect for you and the whole family to get away and enjoy a relaxing vacation in San Diego County. This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo can easily sleep 8 guests with a king size bed in the master bedroom, a queen size bed in the guest bedroom, and 2 twin size bedsin the second guest bedroom. The spacious kitchen has a place for everyone with a full-size breakfast bar and a dining table that can seat up to 8 guests with ease. There is also seating on the patio. From every window in the kitchen you have a view of the harbor or the view of the ocean waves from the den area.

Marina Del Mar Condominiums overlook miles of sandy beaches that run alongside the picturesque Oceanside Harbor. When you're not enjoying the heated pool and hot tub in the condos there are many other activities, both relaxing and exciting, that the harbor has to offer for people of all ages.
If you're looking for something adventurous check out the water sports rentals across from the shops and restaurants. Here you will be able to rent affordable kayaks, jet skis, pedal boats, stand-up paddleboards, and more! At Helgren's Sports Fishing you can schedule a day trip or an overnight adventure to fish, whale watch, or embark on a harbor excursion. You'll be able to find everything you need for a perfect fishing trip including fuel, equipment, and more.
The harbor is also home to numerous sports bars, restaurants, and cafes of all kinds to ensure your satisfaction. There are several fantastic seafood options to choose from such as Harbor Fish & Chips or Oceanside Broiler. If you prefer a more upscale experience try D'vino, a popular fusion bistro that includes a gelato café and wine bar.
The harbor's inviting village setting is perfect for unwinding with a relaxing stroll through the various gift shops and boutiques where you will find stylish beachwear as well as souvenirs & gifts so you can take a little bit of paradise home with you.
Just a few steps away from the condos lay a long stretch of sand perfect for beach games or volleyball. There are also various tents which offer surf lessons and surfboard rentals for more adventurous vacationers. Families will be pleased to know that this beach has several convenient features such as bathrooms, showers, and lifeguards on duty during peak seasons and hours. The shaded picnic tables and coal barbecue grills are perfect for large or small gatherings after a long day at the beach. You can also end your beach day with a short walk to the Oceanside Pier and grab a fish sandwich from the Tin Fish to enjoy on the beach.
Parking on site is free for 1 vehicle per condo. Guest parking is available in the paid lots and free parking for 72 hours in the parking lot by the Crab Shack. No vehicles over 16ft allowed in the parking area at all. Tall, large and extended pickup trucks or SUV's will need to park off-site.

Quiet Beaches:
Monday - Friday of Jan, Feb, April, May, Sept. There are some events scheduled on weekends during these time so check with management.
No Guest Parking on site from May until June. Only the assigned space may be used for your unit. Extra vehicles need to use paid parking lots or Free Parking area by the Crab Shack.

Q. Is there parking in the complex
A. Most units have 1 assigned parking space. Day guests can park in the pay lot beside complex. Overnight guests will need to park in the 72-hour free lot 1 on the east side of the harbor. This is on a first come, first served basis.
Q. What if I have an oversized vehicle
A. No vehicles over 16ft allowed on the property. Oversized vehicles need to pay for overnight parking in the camping area or in the Free Parking by the Crab Shack if available. 72 hours max.
Q. What beach equipment do we need to bring
A. We suggest you bring your own beach towels, boogie boards, and umbrellas. Some of the units may have these items, but we cannot guarantee they will be available on your arrival.
Q. Are pets allowed
A. We are sorry, but pets are not allowed in the rental units.
Q. Is smoking allowed
A. All our units are non-smoking, including the balcony and anywhere in the complex.
Q. Is there air conditioning
A. Each unit is equipped with either ceiling fans or portable fans to keep the air moving. There is no central or portable air conditioning.

    We had a wonderful time! Loved that the property had boogie boards for us to use at the beach. We love the location. This is the third time we’ve stayed at this property.

    We had a good time. However the pictures online make it look MUCH less crowded than it actually is during the summer! The parking was difficult to say the least. When renting a place with 7 people, you will most likely have a larger car and the space provided was not meant for anything but a small car so....you're on your own to hopefully snag one of the visitor parking places.

    The location was beautiful overlooking Oceanside Harbor and very secure. However, the townhome units are old and have some cosmetic issues. The handyman also had to disengage the lock on the front door so we could get in & out during our stay. There was no AC in the bedrooms and it was very warm! Lastly the fridge was frozen over on the bottom. It was a nice stay, but a bit overpriced!

    Really enjoyed the property. It was clean, roomy and comfy. Loved the view, loved the corner unit. Everyone was very nice. Had a great time at the beach, the pool and the hot tub. Love all the restaurant options. Not sure if it's not this properties policy but more than four rolls of toilet paper and four garbage bags would have been nice, but not the end of the world.

    This listing was exactly as described in an amazing location. The views were undescribable that overlook the harbor in the ocean. The pool and hot tub were clean and relaxing. It was in walking distance of great restaurants in close to downtown Oceanside and Camp Pendleton. Great for a family looking for an unforgettable experience.

    This property is pretty awesome, but a few relatively minor fixes would make it absolutely spectacular!! First thing we noticed in the bedrooms were the dilapidated ceiling fans. Although they were clean, they were pretty disgusting to look at. I presume the damp salt air has taken a toll as they looked to be 100 years old. Pick up a few $69 fans at Home Depot and it would drastically change the overall first impression of the bedrooms. (If you can bring your own small portable fan. The floor fan was so rusted and disgusting, no one would touch it.) The dishwasher was another source of grunginess. The tabs did not dissolve regardless of the setting and just made a mess on the inside of the dishwasher door and did not in any way clean the dishes. Definitely in need of a repair as we were there 5 nights and had to resort to handwashing all the dishes we used. Both master shower and hall bath had very slow drain issues which is not a huge deal but also should be a relatively simple fix. Aside from that, the unit was very clean, had amazing views and was in close proximity to ocean, restaurants and marina. The awesome basket of goodies from our cleaning crew was a nice added surprise. As others have stated, the parking space is beyond ridiculously small. We had to back in our Nissan Murano and had about 2-3 inches to spare (on both rear and sides) but we were able to fit it in as long as we folded in the side mirrors. Nothing they can do about that as most all of the spaces are that tight (and it is California after all.) With all this said - there was way more we absolutely LOVED about this location but just wanted to offer up a couple of fixes that would really make a dramatic difference overall. (The fans really HAVE to go!!)
