Parking could be better and directions to the room
Nice unit everything was as described. The pool is just outside the door. There are only 2 units on the 3rd floor. I’d prefer a private balcony but we were aware it was on the pool level. It was clean and everything worked as it should.
Very loud at condo you can hearvall the pool noise and the ice machine traffic in the condo. Need more information for tje check/ out process. We had to find the cond by wonders around no information on parking garage. We had to use extra parking across road because our truckbwas to tall for parking garage.
This property was misrepresented. It was at best a studio apartment. Walked in the door into the bed. AC did not work. No balcony as pictured. Outside door was to pool. Mattress needed to be replaced (badly). We stayed one night because we got in late and then moved to a hotel.
The space was just right for the two of us. The kitchen was great for our eat-in meals. Very comfortable to hangout in on a rainy afternoon.
Overall we had a great time. Pictures don’t show everything entirely accurately. It is a shared balcony space. The room is tucked a little bit away, so it can be tricky to find initially. Bed/mattress could possibly use a little update Perfect space for two people though, we enjoyed our time.
Great
The nice thing was location. The room was ok. Didn't have a private balcony. The curtains were broken. The chain for ceiling fans were broken. The pullout bed was not clean and look yellow. They didn't work with you to send anyone to fix or clean. Told them not to go in room unless I was in it. They went in and cleaned the pullout bed. Would not recommend.
Love Windmere! 302 room location good except for the broken screechy gate from the corridor to the pool area swinging in the wind all night and the ice machine near the pool is extremely loud. Beautiful views from the room door. The condo was extremely clean upon arrival. The couch has seen MUCH better days. Needs replaced. The bed is very uncomfortable and wobbly. The exterior door to the corridor is very thin, with no dead bolt. I felt a little unsafe with that fact. You can hear everything that goes on in the pool area and parking lot while in the condo. Although the entire building could use some maintenance , we have had much better stays in some of the other units in the building. The hot tub was out of order, which was a major bummer since we chose to go when the weather was cooling off. Also, I never saw anyone clean the pool and sand was in there the entire stay. We will be back to this condo, just not this unit.
The unit smelled stuffy. I purchased a candle and lit it whenever I was in the unit. The couch had visible stains on it. The door to the balcony would not open so I was unable to sit outside. This unit is next to the pool so you have lots of noise and traffic outside of the doors leading to the balcony which is a shared space with the pool. There was rust on the refrigerator. The cost of beach chair rental was originally included when I booked the unit. I received an email the day prior to my stay that chair rental was not covered but could be purchased for $20 per day. They were actually $40 per day. Vacasa has not refunded the cost of chair rental which they had already collected from me. I made several calls to vacasa about the balcony door, was told a request for maintenance was entered. No one followed through to repair the door. I will not book this unit again. In need of an update.
We are both digital nomads. I work nights. She works days. Both remotely. We love Perdido. We did not love our experiment with Vacasa. First day we awoke to loud banging from above us that lasted an hour or so. I let your staff know. Nothing was done. When we extended our trip by a day I was awakened to housecleaning entering our condo twice. The third time a male employee walked in on my unclothed girlfriend. She was obviously upset. I let Vacasa know. I was given the word salad of canned text responses if we are sorry. No one checked on us. No one followed up with my humiliated and upset girlfriend. I emailed your C Level team with screenshots and our narrative. Local management reached out 24 hours later offering apologies and at least a concerned ear and empathy. Currently we would not use Vacasa again if they were the only option on the planet. Humiliated and upset customers Timothy and Madison
Great location and beach view! Unit needs work: mattress is AWFUL, refrigerator is rusted on visible side and inside racks are rusted as well. Bath towel had stains on them and one if them was ripped and not usable. Shower squealed entire time it was on. Unit needs some attention.
I've stayed in this unit at The Windemere and love it. It's good for a single or couple and very convenient to everything within the building and convenient to both Perdido Key, Orange Beach, Gulf Shores, NAS Pensacola, and downtown Pensacola. There are a couple of tweaks I'd like to see in this unit, but I'll deliver those comments to the owners directly. Bottom line....my favorite place to stay on the gulf coast.
Room was great for having somewhere to sleep. Not a place for anyone seeking a fancy or 4 star+ condo. AC unit was not working for 3 ish days during our stay but got fixed pretty soon after being reported. But it was great as far as proximity to the beach which is why we even went to Perdido Key.
The parking was a nightmare. Finding the room took a long time because of the hidden corners getting to the room. Staying on a patio rather than a balcony meant sharing our outdoor chairs with our neighbors next door. Wife loved the room as opposed to my not being happy.
Upon arriving, we had no idea where to park, where our room was located and couldn't find anyone to help. We couldn't find our welcome packet in our unit including the parking pass and beach chair coupon. When I called the managing company they did nothing but put me on hold and hung up. While staying at this unit, we discovered a few problems. The balcony is not private and very close to the pool. There is also a gate and ice machine close that makes noise throughout the day/night. There were not enough dishes/towels in the unit. The location of the property was exceptional. Right on the beach with not much walking. An added bonus is the free beach setup. That's about the extent of the good news.
