Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It can be said that with a beautiful enough view of the world outside a window, the inside of a home is rarely seen. While standing in front of the floor to ceiling windows, gazing at the blending of textures and subtle colors between dunes, sea, and sky, it is hard not to appreciate the space I'm standing in. It was a perfect get-away spot that allowed my family the tranquil serenity of nature while blending the comforts of home. Thanks for a most memorable experience.

We had a lovely stay. The view is awesome; we had the beach to ourselves, and the spacious accommodations were clean and comfortable.A couple of items were in need of repair. The back slider didn't lock until we cleaned out the rust and got the latch to open and engage. There was no blind on the largest window in the primary bedroom which meant waking up with the sun and the knob was missing on the heater in the primary bathroom.I'd very much like to visit more often as it's a wonderful place, just wish the fees and taxes weren't more than the rent!

Great location and perfect for a group of people. Could have been cleaner with dust and old spiderweb's places and tissues under the bed.

Overall our stay was great. Easy beach access, quiet, peaceful. The house was fine, everything worked. Kitchen was equipped adequately, if with old well worn stuff. The kitchen is also too dark.

But Lacking: only 2 dish rags, lighting in kitchen was horrible, a little far of a walk with gear to beach. Still doable. Still had a blast. We want to go back in May or June, but are wanting a 4 bedroom.

We rented this house for some people coming in from out of town to work with us during Monterey Car Week. Peaceful, clean, great view of the ocean. Worked great for 4 co-workers to share!

Paired with easy access to the pristine beach, this is a great landing zone for people wishing to explore the area--or not. You'd be well entertained just staying in and watching the ocean. However, this property is definitely showing its age; hot water runs out if two people shower at once, and both shower faucets are extremely finicky. (As in like, breathe on it in one direction and you go from cold to fire about 60 seconds later). However, if you're here to appreciate the natural beauty of the area, you'll not mind these issues and just soak in the beauty--cheers to the landscaper too!
