Stayed Jul 26, 2025We were surprised to arrive day 1 into a construction zone on a Saturday on both sides of the unit with tile saws blazing. However, the construction noise more or less died down a few days later as work was completed. The unit is small but nice. Very well outfitted. Recent remodel too so all new and clean. Nice large patio with ok view in distance. Wifi good and reliable. TV big and good. Kitchen well stocked and adequate. Bath adequate. The building has a pool, gym and jacuzzi -- all ok. Location is fine and easy to walk to most places. Would stay here any day over Waikiki hotel options.

Stayed Jul 7, 2025My adult daughter and I spent 19 nights here in July and truly loved it. The apartment is modern, beautifully furnished, and well equipped. The king-size bed is very comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you need — large fridge, compact dishwasher, big microwave, and quality dishes. There’s a 65” smart TV, great A/C, and a spacious balcony with a big table and 4 comfy chairs, offering stunning views of Diamond Head, the city, and the ocean. The location is excellent: 5 minutes to a large supermarket, shops in 3, and Waikiki Beach in 10 minutes. You don’t need a car, but you’d miss out on the island’s nature and quiet beaches. Parking in the building is 45/night; we found free street parking only 3 times out of 19.Host Karin was amazing — always quick to respond, super helpful, and kind. The building itself is older and not on the same level as the apartment, but offers a decent pool, laundry room, and small convenience store.Being in Honolulu, it’s not quiet — city noise is noticeable even at night. Also, the bedroom gets bright early despite blackout curtains. The only things we missed were an oven or air fryer and a way to hang laundry.Still, we had a wonderful time and honestly can’t imagine a better place for two. Highly recommended!

Stayed Apr 15, 2025We stayed at Karin's place for 8 nights in April 2025, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. First of all, a huge thank you to Karin—she’s a fantastic host. Communication was smooth and easy from start to finish. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Waikiki and within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, Target, car rentals, and public transportation. The apartment itself was great: a spacious and super comfortable king-size bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and a lovely balcony on the 37th floor offering breathtaking views of the ocean, canal, and Diamond Head. The AC was powerful yet quiet, which made our stay even more comfortable. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and we’d absolutely recommend Karin’s place to anyone planning a Hawaiian getaway!

Stayed Jan 1, 2024This rental is located in a safe and convenient area. The rental was as pictured, and the view was outstanding. My husband needed to work remotely, and he spent most of the day working on the deck soaking up a fabulous view of Diamond Head. The host was also wonderful. She checked in with us, and the rental was stocked with all the little things that make a stay feel like home -- from tea to plenty of towels. There is a laundry area on the 6th floor with a little lending library. The restaurant in the lobby had delicious breakfast options. It was a great find!

Stayed Dec 24, 2023Was a great place. Kinda dirty Pretty small Elevator to the 37 th floor was rediculious. The condo was very modern. We looked inside other rooms and wow they look like the 40 ‘s. Had to put luggage on balcony because no space. Very loud from the street below. Honolulu people must be accident prone because all day and every. Night ambulance and police sirens Neighbors were very loud. Doesn’t like the vrbo people renting in the building. The balcony door made so much noise opening and closing that the neighbor next door were pissed. It was a perfect location. I was the maid every thing needed to clean or do laundry was there that was a first for vrbo. I loved that. Bathroom very small. Nice that it has its own store on the sixth floor. Pool seams nice didn’t use not warm enough outside. Waikiki beach was so crowded you couldn’t get to the water without stepping around towels people kids toys sandcastles. It was ridiculous even if you got there early. Nobody has manners anymore. Just do what the hell they want with no consideration for others. What has this world come too. Stay away from bucks steakhouse and I hop. Must do aloha steakhouse the best steak ever and it burn the hell out of mine and it was still the most juiciest steak ever. Everything was expensive expensive expensive oh ya did I mention everything is expensive. The price was perfect for the location way better than a beach front hotel

Stayed May 8, 2023We stayed for 9 nights and it was great! Very clean. There were plenty of supplies and toiletries for us to use! So much that there wasn’t much space to store our empty suitcases but we dealt with it ok. Full size refrigerator too for leftovers so we saved some money there.
