I'm writing this review, not of the property since my trip there was cancelled due to the severe weather of Tropical Storm Debby, but rather to review VRBO and the property manager, Akers Ellis Realty. Both treated me extremely well and were concerned more about my safety from the storm if I had actually tried to travel to the property. They both were very responsive to my questions since it all occurred last minute and refunded my payment. I was extremely pleased and impressed by their contact and concern. I'll definitely be renting from both again in the future! Thank you!

Great location. Quick walk to beach. Condo needed some updating-especially the bathroom, tub. It served our purpose. Had a problem with washing machine. We called the real estate company and they sent 2 guys to the condo very quickly. Part was broken but they ordered it. Overall, Would consider going back again.

Pleasant enough and a good location with a very short walk to the beach. Nice bedroom with comfortable bed, wonderful towels, nice wood floors, great TV options, nice kitchen. Porch could use some upgrades, but overall, a pleasant stay.

The space was small but very well done! It had everything we needed to make our week on Kiawah Island extra special. The short walk to the beach and mornings on the screened in porch were our favorite!

The location of the property is great, but because it's in an older building, you will hear EVERY move of the folks above. We were hoping to be able to sleep in, as we both work a lot of hours and just wanted a relaxing few days, however, even the opening of a drawer or walk across the floor above sounded like it was coming through a megaphone. All of the amenities were nice enough--dishes, utensils, TV, w/d, but the bed wasn't very comfortable, and the dearth of any decoration coupled with the fluorescent lighting made us feel like we were in a hospital. When traveling we usually like to stay home at least one night and make a nice dinner, open some wine, maybe watch a movie. Not here--we went out for every meal and stayed out as much of the day as we could. There are few windows, and though there is a screened porch, it's dark, tired, and not a place for morning coffee. Overall, we had a good time, but if the weather didn't cooperate, this would not have been the place that we would've wanted to hang.
