The location is fabulous and the unit is just as shown in the photos. Great stay.

The condo was spotless, comfortable and as advertised. The owner was very thoughtful about all the details of check in and everything you could possibly need was available. It is perfectly situated in the heart of downtown so we had only to park our cars and walk the rest of the time. Would definitely recommend.

Everything about this ultra well equipped, comfortable and stylish downtown Asheville condo is excellent. Owner Karen was very communicative and friendly. We loved the fresh flowers and other thoughtful touches. It will be hard to go back to any hotel after this lovely stay!

Unique loft like condo right in the middle of downtown close to everything. Very large and spacious with a living room, full kitchen, and a washer and dryer.

The downtown loft was beautiful, the bed extremely comfortable and you’ve 1000 sq feet to putter around in. Additionally, it’s in the heart of dining, arts and breweries in Asheville. Much better than sterile hotel accommodations. (Though unloading and parking in the area is an experience). The hosts were as attentive to special requests and very gracious. We would readily stay there on every visit.

It's a fantastic location in the heart of downtown Asheville. S&W Cafeteria is downstairs with multiple options for meals. We got coffee and biscuits from Flour in the morning. The unit is clean, decorated nicely, and well stocked with towels, bedding, cookware...etc. As noted in other reviews the owners communicate very well and are hopeful with recommended activities. If I had to complain about anything it would be the paper thin walls between the adjoining units. We were up until midnight one night because our neighbors were playing video games. They were not loud, but the walls are so thin it sounded like they were sitting right next to us on the couch.

The kitchen and bathroom had everything that we needed, and was well sticked. Bed was comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. The condo had great ambience and is super convenient to everything down town as well as being able to drive out of town. The coffee shop on the main floor had great coffee and breakfast sandwich.

Host was welcoming and provided detailed instructions. Loved the location because it was convenient to restaurants and shopping. The host provided more than enough essentials for our stay.

The owner provided very clear instructions on where to park and how to check in to the condo, as well as checking in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. The condo was very well stocked, including coffee, creamer, tea and beer! It was a very nice space and we enjoyed how close it was to everything we wanted to do.

This is the perfect location for for visiting downtown Asheville. Everything downtown is walkable from here. The condo is beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable. Everything you need for your stay/comfort is in the condo. The host, Karen, provided absolutely the best information for everything from parking to how to access the property. Definitely the only place we will stay on our next visit to Asheville.

Unit was well appointed with everything you might need. Location was right in the middle of the activity but was surprisingly quiet. The host Karen was helpful with communication on the check in process.

Our stay at the 306 S&W condo could not have been more perfect to celebrate our anniversary. We were married in Asheville many years ago so we know Asheville fairly well. We love staying downtown and this condo is an ideal location for all the great shopping/dining options Asheville has to offer. The condo was very well furnished with an attention to detail. The owners were very communicative and answered all of our questions prior to our arrival. We will be staying at here again! Highly recommend.

Very nice property for a visit! My wife and I often visit Asheville, and this property hit right in the center of what's happenin'. It was very nice having wake-up options on the first floor. Walking distance to everything - restaurants, micro-breweries, ice cream, Woolworth walk (local artists). We will definitely stay here again on our next visit. This was a well appointed unit in a great central location to downtown restaurants, shops, galleries. Karen was very kind to share this home and offer restaurant and music venue recommendations. Had a great time with trips to the Biltmore Estate, Blue Ridge Parkway, GSMNP, River Arts District. Would highly recommend this condo.

We would love to stay here again if we have the opportunity. Five stars!

Perfect downtown location

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the S&W Building. The condo is in a perfect location—just steps away from great restaurants, a museum, and a breweries. It was stocked with everything we needed for our trip, and Karen’s attention to detail really stood out, right down to the thoughtful welcome sign.She also went above and beyond by sharing restaurant recommendations and even letting us know about a concert happening during our stay. We felt truly welcomed and well taken care of. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family!

Everything you could want in a space with the ease of everything within walking distance. Host were on top of everything. The little touches such as fresh flowers and welcoming note were a kind surprise. We will be back!

Karen, was extremely responsive, kind, thoughtful & accommodating. We were traveling with my Mom who has mobility needs and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. She provided a bedside commode and shower bench which were very helpful in making the stay so much more comfortable. The condo is beautiful and was easy for my Mom to navigate with her walker &/or a wheelchair. Thank you Karen for helping to make our stay so special!!

Our stay at the S&W Cafeteria Condo was absolutely perfect! The location couldn't have been better, putting us right in the heart of everything we needed. From the moment we walked in, it was clear how much care and attention had been put into making the condo a welcoming and comfortable retreat. The space was beautifully appointed, with thoughtful touches that made all the difference—fresh roses in a vase on the table were an especially lovely surprise! It truly felt like a home away from home. Karen, our host, was exceptional. Her communication was fantastic from start to finish, ensuring we had everything we needed for a great stay. We had an absolutely wonderful stay in this stylish beautifully appointed Condo. The amenities and detail to care was top shelf. During our visit, the elevator developed a malfunction, but our host communicated with us about it and kept us up-to-date as it was being repaired.. This downtown condo is perfectly located to enjoy all the downtown as to offer. Can’t wait to go back.

Everything from the booking process to the check-in process to the follow up and check out process was wonderful. The condo is centrally located to be able to walk to amazing restaurants and breweries and shopping. We had an amazing time and will definitely explore coming back to this location in the future.

This condo is a beautifully decorated and centrally located dream of a listing. Karen was incredibly helpful every step of the way to make sure we had an easy time locating, parking and overall use of the property 10/10 would stay again

We stayed for 3 days and it was very convenient to all activities we wanted to do. The condo is equipped with all the amenities we needed and so much extra. Only thing we had an issue was the mattress on the bed was a little firmer than we would normally enjoy.

The property owner had great communication, and the condo was clean, well taken care of, and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

We have stayed at several VRBO’s over the years. This was among the very best. We loved the location and the property was perfect for the two of us. So comfortable and attractive. The hosts have given attention to every detail. We will be back!

we tend to stay at private property rentals rather than hotels and have high standards. we absolutely LOVED nearly everything about this apartment, including any communication with karen. the only thing that brought the star rating down (which i hated doing): paper thin walls. even so, we would consider staying there again as it checked so many boxes. FABULOUS downtown location, ground floor food options, furnishings & decor, bedding, cozy chic factor, lighting options, soundproofing between floors (ironically). getting back to the wall issue, if you go in knowing it's there, it could help. you can actually hear every word from the neighbor and/or TV along one side of the apartment (living room/bathroom/bedroom). it normally stops by 11pm and begins again around 8am. aside from that, this is an ideal downtown asheville rental for a single person or couple.

After we found out one of our daughters wasn’t able to get off for Thanksgiving, the rest of us decided to go to her within a 24 hour notice! We own our own rental property on the coast, and I’m in the travel industry where I travel all around the world viewing luxury properties. That all to say, I have stayed in many places. I was so excited when I found this condo, in the middle of downtown Asheville, above the food hall, in a beautiful historic building. I would call this a boutique condo- exposed brick walls, very cozy, yet full renovated and so comfortable. The host responded to all of my questions immediately and went above and beyond to be sure I had everything I needed to cook and bake a full Thanksgiving meal for my family.the condo was in a safe location, and walking distance to all the great bars, restaurants and shops. I already told the host that we’d be back. We loved it! Thank you!

We so enjoyed our visit to this downtown condo. The check in directions were thorough and very clear, and the condo was nicely decorated and very comfortable. Karen was an absolutely amazing host, giving us general tips as well as information on closures associated with the hurricane aftermath. All of her restaurant suggestions as well as bars and tasting rooms were fabulous, and we could not have enjoyed ourselves more. The food hall on the first floor of the building was fabulous, with the coffee and biscuit place, Flour, our absolute favorite. Asheville was definitely ready to welcome Visitors and this place was within walking distance to everything. Would highly recommend!

We were in town for a show at rabbit rabbit. We chose this property due to its close proximity to the show and amenities. We were very pleased with the accommodations and attention to detail. Some examples were the stocking of the refrigerator with coffee creamers, frozen mugs and condiments. Thank you for a great stay!

Loved everything about this apartment — the view, the room layout, well-appointed kitchen, quiet bedroom with comfy bed and linens, good towels and shower supplies, the thoughtfulness of hosts, and, of course, that amazing location. We walked to so many great restaurants and coffee houses, galleries and shops, and nearby attractions. Would especially recommend this for someone traveling alone—it’s above a secure building—or a couple.

Celebrated my 49th birthday Labor Day weekend. The apartment was perfectly located. Walked 5 minutes to all the best dining and shopping. Food court downstairs was a plus for early morning coffee! Sweet small touches. Highly recommend!

It was just too short. Only there for two nights but wished it had been more. Condo was just as advertised. Had everything we needed and more. Probably could have just moved in permanently and been perfectly happy. Location was ideal for us. Had all our meals within walking distance and lots of shopping nearby if that’s what you want. A lot of codes to get to your condo. Outside door, elevator and condo door. My first thought was that this is too much for an old lady like me to remember but then I realized that I don’t think I’d felt so safe in a long time. Communicated with Karen several times before arrival and she was very prompt and helpful. Highly recommend this property.

When I travel to Asheville again, and I will, this is THE place I'll try to stay. The location couldn't be any better if they designed the city around it. The owners communicate very well. The place is super nice. No complaints in any department.
