    Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was nice. It was a secure property directly on Waikīkī Beach. Good view of the ocean that was somewhat blocked by the trees next door in the park. Overall a great stay. The only drawback I can think of is this. Rental company needs to be more direct on their address and how to find their office. We spent 30 minutes trying to find it. I just happened to try a hallway in the building and found a building directory at the end of the hall.

    This condo’s location couldn’t have been better - right on the ocean in the heart of Waikiki with shopping and restaurants just a few steps away. The lanai had views of the ocean and the adjacent park and the room was relatively insulated from outside noise. The inside of the property could benefit from a fresh coat of paint and a freshen up on frying pans (they were well past their prime with the Teflon coating flaking away), but that was easy to overlook due to the prime location of the property. We did have a minor repair needed with the showerhead and they were super quick to get that taken care of. Overall it was a great stay.

    The unit had very little in terms of dishes/plates and amenities. I was especially disappointed that a beach front condo didn’t have beach towels. We enjoyed a discount in beach chair and umbrella rental which was a nice surprise. Bed was comfortable.

    Yes convenient location, not kept up, no pillows on the couch, no carpet, poorly decorated. Old lights fixtures, doors need replaced, and there is a huge bird net from floor to ceiling on the lanai.

    Be sure to pay close attention to the check in process, get your keys and parking card from the management office before attempting to get into the unit.Unit was clean & the little extras (beach umbrellas, sand mats, floaties, etc) were a great addition to our short stay!

    For being in downtown Waikiki, the location couldn’t be better. Having a parking spot is amazing. Having to figure out how to get your keys on the parking pass is difficult. we were lucky enough to show up during the week and before 5 o’clock, so I have to catch somebody at the business office. She did not speak English well so it was difficult to communicate, but she was able to get me the keys. I never did get the lockbox code, nor the code to the door at the condo in my email. I went back and double checked all my emails and my junk mail. It is not there. It would benefit everyone if the owner could figure out a way to skip that step. I saw other lockboxes on the fence at the condo which would be a better option, but what do I know. The toilet wasn’t working when we got there, but I quickly fix that, and some of the lights didn’t work well which weren’t an issue for us. I did request a one hour late checkout and was denied without paying extra. Given the check-in process and the fact that I had to fix the toilet, I was a little surprised by that. If you say it goes well without needing to communicate, it is a great place, I would be worried for someone who had to reach out because the response time is not very fast. The bed in the kitchen were in good order, there were towels and hand towels, but no wash clothes.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I've stayed at a lot of places on Oahu, and have lived on Oahu. BE AWARE of the check in/key fob/parking process, and you'll be happy with this place. To have parking so close, this is huge. Washer and dryer, huge. Location, proximity, and access to the beach... you could not ask for much more. I have wanted to stay at Waikiki Shores forever. I would stay at this unit again in a heartbeat.

    I was sent an email giving me the code to get in but was not told that I needed to pickup a fob to access the building at a different location so I inquired at the front desk and they weren’t able to help as they are there for the hotel guests and I was unaware that I wasn’t supposed to have contact with them. After sending a message and calling the realtor and getting no response security for the building contacted them and I was then given instructions on how to retrieve the fob. The property was not very Clean, I have pictures and I also have the email that was sent to me that does not give any information about getting the fob at a different location or that I wasn’t supposed to have contact with the front desk, if you would like to see them. It was however a great location.

    Check in process was a little confusing. One set of instructions said key fob and parking pass would be in the unit and the other (attachment to the same instructions) said key fob and pass needed be picked up from the property managers office at a different location. Though when asked they responded promptly and communicated well through out stay. Location was perfect. Beach and park adjacent and walking distance to Waikiki shopping and dining.
