Stayed May 23, 2025We have stayed in this unit and other withing the complex many times and love this location. it is a home away from home. This particular unit lacks a big TV and games if you are looking for that, but we are typically outside and bring our own games, so it is great. Highly recommend, just don't tell your friends!

Stayed May 7, 2023The property was more than we expected, Susan and her husband went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. We couldn't have asked for anything more! I accidentally left a personal item behind, I contacted Susan and she handled it with professionalism and very prompt attention. We will be renting this unit for years to come!

Stayed Dec 30, 2021I've stayed on Daufuskie approximately 10 times since 2017. Have stayed at Sandy Lane Villas about half the time. This unit/experience was somewhere between ok & good. The cleaning fee is quite steep, especially when you consider the porch looked like it hadn't been cleaned in some time. Most of the patio furniture is broken as well. The kitchen was lacking several items I'd consider to be essential (ex baking sheet) and a number of items were dirty/need to be replaced. One of our bags fell off the trailer on the ride from county dock to the property, which resulted in the loss of some items. I feel like things could've been handled a little better in regard to that. If this unit were a bit cleaner, better stocked, & the price more in line w units I've stayed at in the same complex (including nye) I'd be more inclined to give 5 stars. Overall, you can't beat this complex when it comes views & access to the beach.
