Stayed Jul 3, 2024It’s dated but perfect for what we needed. KOA campground so it had boat rentals, golf cart rentals and other free amenities. Great fireworks show on the weekend for the 4th. Perfect porch to relax and watch the lake. Plenty of towels, bath amenities, beds provided for a group of 10 adults. We did have a pack of wood get stolen from our fire pit. The first few nights were peaceful but a rowdy crowd checked in the last night so there were kids running back and forth upstairs and very loud music outside still playing after midnight. Overall would definitely stay again.

Stayed Jun 6, 2024We've gone to this KOA for 17 years and it was our first time to upgrade to a condo. Unfortunately it was very dirty/dingy/old and just gave you the feeling that you didn't want to walk barefoot on the floor if you know what I mean. We used our own Lysol wipes to clean the dark hand marks off every door that have been there for years it seems. On the campground side, either ownership has changed, it's understaffed, or the new summer staff hadn't been trained well in early June. Check-in took 3 attempts. It took attempts to get a golf cart that worked, and they didn't have a 6-seater that was working. The high ropes and zip lines were closed indefinitely. It took us 30 minutes and several attempts to get working pontoon boat. I had taken our extended family with us for the first time (hence the need for a condo) and was just embarsassed. On the upside, the weather was great and we still enjoyed our time together.
