Stayed Sep 26, 2024First time using VRBO. The property rooms look just like hotel rooms. For some reason I thought the rooms were personally decorated. It was fine though. The rooms were very roomy and comfortable. It's a 15 min walk to the center of shops and restaurants/bars. I didn't. mind the walk. I did it a few times a day. I didn't mind. The only issue which worked to our advantage was we didn't get what we paid for. We paid for a 3 bedroom 2 bathrooms. We didn't know till we checked in they didn't have that available. They gave us 2 separate rooms. One was a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom. The other was also a 2 bedroom and 2 bathrooms.Not bad.

Stayed Aug 22, 2024I originally requested a stay in this three bedroom condo on the water at Onshore Resort (as it was showing as available for the dates we needed on the VRBO website) which looked very nice, new and clean with a good view in great location. When I put the request in, however, I was told that that unit was not available (although it was still showing up on the website as available for our dates) but was offered two units (a one bedroom and a two bedroom) at the Wyndham Long Wharf for close to the same price. We accepted the switch as we needed to stay those dates for a wedding. The units we stayed in were dated time shares that smelled musty. Although the one bedroom unit had a view out toward the water, the windows didn't open so no fresh air could come in. The carpet very worn and not particularly clean. The two bedroom unit was dark and looked out over a parking lot. The pool area was under construction. We were so disappointed that my husband and I booked a room at the Marriot and stayed there instead. My son and his fiancé moved into our unit so they didn't have to stay in twin beds in the other. Bottom line, these units may be good for college students on spring break but not for our family!
