This condo is located within the Diria Resort--the only Beachfront Resort in Tamarindo. Within the Diria Resort there are two different common areas, one for condo guests and the second one for hotel guests only. As a guest of the condo, you have access to the 10,000 square foot free-form pool right in front of the condo only, where you can enjoy access to the Tamarindo beach through the Diria Resort property, including access to Diria shops and restaurants. The breakfast buffet is not included in the rate but is available for an additional cost subject to availability.
The rest of the hotel amenities such as towels, Tropicana pool, lounge chairs and gym are only available for hotel guests. We provide pool and beach towels and foldable chairs specifically for your use within the condo area. completely free of charge, ensuring that you have everything you need right in your condo. You can rent this two-bedroom, ground-floor, ocean-view condominium for less than the price of a hotel room at the Diria Hotel. This unit has the most spacious outdoor covered terrace. More than any other condo at the Diria! It also boasts a beautiful private garden and grassy area. This end unit is the most private in the complex and you enter from the ground floor, which means no climbing stairs!! Famous Tamarindo beach is only 150 yards away and you are right in town, within walking distance to just about everything.
In this condo, you’ll have your own kitchen, private laundry, lots of interior space, and a HUGE outdoor patio with a private grassy area, plus many of the comforts of home to enjoy versus being just a hotel room. This ocean view, 2-bedroom, 2-bath Diria Condo, has the best location in Tamarindo. Nice views of the ocean, pristine garden area, and a 10,000 sq. ft. Freeform pool. with a swim-up bar directly in front of this condo as well as many restaurants and bars, shops and beach access through the resort during your stay. The access to these amenities are included in the cost of your stay and you will not pay any other fees.
With over 1500 sq. ft. of living area, there is plenty of room for your group to spread out and relax. Master Bedroom has a King Bed and private bath. The guest bedroom has 1 double bed and 1 twin size trundle bed. The unit boasts spacious living and dining areas, cable TV in the family room, free high-speed WiFi, phone, and A/C. There is also a washer and dryer inside the unit for your convenience.
The remodeled kitchen is fully stocked and features all cooking utensils and supplies. The property has an in-room safe as well as 24-hour security, and secure parking. As a guest of this property, we also include complimentary amenities such as coffee, basic spices, salt, pepper, cooking oil, shampoo, and soap. The house is FULLY stocked with other bonus items for your personal use such as beach towels, folding beach chairs, a cooler, and more!!!

Your dog is very welcome to this unit! In case you want to travel with your beloved four-pawns friend, there are three basic rules:- An extra refundable deposit of $300 is needed in case of any damage.
- We must clean a bit more after you pet that’s why an extra cleaning fee of $50 is required.
- And your pet must be submitted to a pre-approval process.
*No puppies or pets different from dogs are allowed.

The view was spectacular but the actual condo was worn down and needed some fixing up. The second bedroom was gloomy and uninviting. On a good note, the pool was really nice and the location was great and convenient.
The property was exquisite. The location was within walking distance of anything we might want or need. The sunsets from our patio were stunning. I loved the sense of privacy being on the lower level. We definitely will be coming back.

We began with problems of poor AC, no hot water, and ceiling fan that did not work so bad first night. Blue Water got right on it and resolved all problems the next day. 2nd bedroom really not adequate for 2 adults. We had 4 adults staying in the condo and small bdrm had NO storage. Otherwise condo itself was nice. Our biggest issue was all the steps to get to the pool area...probably wouldn't have rented this condo had we known this inconvenience. Pool was wonderful. City area around the condo was also very nice....handy to most anything you wanted.
Enjoyed the location, the quietness of the property and the beautiful view.
We were very happy with our choice to stay in El Diria 511. Pros include: Central location, access to beach, no need for a car, walking distance to shops, restaurants etc., great pool, ocean view, outdoor patio space, 2 full baths, washer dryer, full kitchen, secure, well maintained grounds, reasonably priced and Blue Water management company that provided excellent support. Cons: this was a fully functional basic unit that has everything you need but it is not charming and could use a bit of TLC in maintenance.
This is a fantastic condo for the price! It’s situated within the Diria Tamarindo resort property… the condominium building is up the hill across the street from the main Diria beachfront hotel. As a resident of the condos at Diria, you DO NOT have access to the beachfront pool or lounge chairs on the grass. You DO have access to the “family pool” (closer to the condos) across the street which has lounge chairs, restrooms, and a swim-up bar. We still took advantage of the beachfront however. We rented chairs and umbrellas on the sand from the guys there on the beach and got take-away lunch and drinks from the Diria restaurant and bar (used the Diria bathrooms while on the beach as well). Since you’re at Diria, you’re literally in the middle of town; thus, everything (grocery stores, coffee shops, bars, restaurants, shopping, spas, surf rentals, etc) is just a 5-10 minute walk from the property. The four of us (2 adults, 2 kids) really enjoyed how spacious and comfortable this unit is. This is a 2 bedroom condo with full kitchen, full living room, large dining table, 2 full bathrooms (showers only), washer/dryer, and plenty of towels and linens. Everything is in great, nearly new condition and the furnishings/finishings don't feel rental-cheap. Very well equipped kitchen as well. It feels like someone actually lives here. The team at Blue Water Properties (the rental management company) is super! … very communicative, responsive, accommodating, hospitable, organized, and helpful. In the past we had rented a car and hadn’t used it much (everything in Tamarindo is walkable), so this year we decided to just get a private transport van with the Diria Tour Desk to and from the airport. Best plan ever; much more cost-efficient than renting a car for the week. Enjoy! Pura Vida!
Everything was clean, the property was well stocked, and Tamarindo Diria is one of our favorite places to be. Sitting out on the patio, we saw monkeys right in front of us!
The property wasn’t as clean as it appeared. It also was a little more run down than we would’ve liked. At the same time it was a good location right in the heart of Tamarindo. Easy walkable access to the beach, pool and restaurants. Overall we’d recommend this place or if you’re looking for something nicer we’d recommend one if the newer Diria buildings
