It was a nice hotel to stay in and the people was really nice

Very nice location away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki Beach. Very comfy beds, nice view. No hair dryer, so bring one if you need it. There's a mini fridge, plates, wine glasses, tumblers, cutlery and extra trash bags when your trash can inevitably gets full (put your trash outside the door). There were even cheapie house slippers for those who are so inclined to wear them. I would consider staying here again if I were in the area.

The beds are comfortable but could use thicker blankets. Overall a great stay and excellent location, out of the heavy traffic of downtown Waikiki and close to the highway on-ramps for exploring. Mall is right across the street and Wal-mart 2 blocks down.

The location is perfect. The view from this room was great! Room was clean and spacious. Host was responsive.

The view was amazing, and the place was quiet and very comfortable.Any issues with the facilities were handled quickly, which we really appreciated.We stay at the Ala Moana Hotel every year, and taking care of trash has always been a bit of a hassle, so it was great that we could simply leave it in the hallway to be picked up.We’ve stayed with many different owners over the years, but this one was the best.We would definitely love to stay here again on our next visit.Thank you for helping make our trip so enjoyable!

Just what we expected for a hotel rental. Had everything we needed. We talked with others who went thru VRBO with other owners and there were lots of complaints for lacking towels, etc but we didn’t have any issues! Had plenty of towels, room was clean, great views. And it was the perfect location for our daughters’ volleyball tournament at the convention center. Also convenient to the mall for whatever we needed!

3rd time at Ala Moana Hotel thru VRBO/Lei Hawaii. I arranged early check-in about 1 month ahead and reconfirmed 2 days before my arrival. Paperwork not completed with hotel. Had to make phone call to Lei Hawaii from front desk. Host seemed flustered when contacted at front desk. Finally done and I was able to check-in early. In room - no hangars in closet, no ice bucket, no extra blanket. Everything else okay. When I contacted property mgmt, well, see response below. Too difficult to handle ice bucket. You are in the hospitality business! Unacceptable! Nothing was provided as stated in the response to my question.

Reviewer Comments: After waiting in line for 30 minutes before the check-in time of 3:00 p.m., we were told by the front desk staff that we had no reservations, and we were disappointed. After that, with the help of the staff, we were finally able to enter the room after another 2 hours. My husband, who was on his first trip to Hawaii, was exhausted and fell asleep on the sofa in the lobby. After that, he was instantly transported to heaven by the view from the room. It was the first time I had ever experienced something like that.

Place was clean, but the kitchen was just a microwave and coffee maker. There was only a used roll of toilet paper. No tissies.

Close to beach and harbor. Went fishing on charter it was perfect.

No hair dryer, cheap towels and bed cover, coffee maker needs replacement with old furniture and paint job. Was cheap but acceptable. did not appreciate the hidden fees for cleaning and resort fee. Who charges a resort fee for their home stay.

Room was as described and had a handy little kitchenette. Emailed the property manager twice for minor concerns but never heard back. Also the TV is very glitchy and needs to be replaced. Otherwise would stay again.be rep

Glad we were able to secure this room on short notice. We always stay at the Ala Moana hotel but it was a late booking and nothing was available. I’m glad I was told about this option through VRBO from a someone who booked this way. Towels, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap were supplied in the room. Thank you.

We always stay at the Ala Moana Hotel and use Lei Hawaii Realty Inc as our preferred Condominium rental within the hotel. The rooms are quite tired looking and could do with some TLC.

Great location, room clean.

The host did not supply a clean and stocked room. The host did not respond to my messages. The host did not stand to have the dirty room cleaned or stocked for use. I want this refunded. I never stayed in the room, as it was never made habitable

The day after we arrived we realized that the air conditioning was not working. We reported this to Lei HI Realty twice and also to VRBO but nothing was done to repair it. This was very disappointing.
