Stayed Jun 29, 2025The property and location was great. There was a good bit of space in the condo for all of us. Beds are ok for 1 or 2 nights but not that comfortable for a week. Ice machine was nice and convenient. Balcony was spacious and overlooked pool area. Will definitely stay here again.

Stayed Jul 12, 2021The outdoor facilities were OK. The kids seem to have enjoyed themselves. However, the decor was old and outdated and TV did not work in the guest bedroom.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969I stayed at this property 5 times in the last 10 years. I noticed that things had gone down at this condo facility last time but it is now unacceptable. Check-in was a nightmare. We had emails stating the bill was paid in full. They told us that it wasn't paid at all--they got a new computer system & it was a mixup! Then the code given to open our room did not work. We stood outside our room with all our luggage for 30 minutes & called the front desk and the property manager. The phone rang off the hook or we just got voice mails & had to leave a message--Which were never answered. Finally got a live person who gave us a new code. Room had only been surfaced clean. Found an old wrist brace under a recliner, an empty water bottle under the tv console & food wrappers under the sofa bed. We had to disinfect the whole condo. At midnight, we pulled out the sofa bed. There was only a thin mattress pad with holes in it. NO sheets in the room. I called the front desk. 30 minutes later, they brought a bag of sheets. The new sheets had holes in them and a large black mark. We called the front desk again. 30 minutes later, we were given new sheets. The bag contained 2 blankets--NO sheets! The next day, I went to Walmart & bought new sheets. The property is showing its age; freezer light didn't work, outlets didn't work, wifi was so weak that we couldn't steam netflix or anything else. The TVs are 20 years old and hooked to the DISH. NO smart tvs. NO premium channels. The DISH satellite kept going down & then the remotes quit working. We called the front desk about it. They asked it is a problem with an OLD TV or the remote? I said probably both. They said someone would come by to fix the TVs. NO ONE SHOWED UP TO FIX THE TVs. Tub and kitchen faucets leaked. On the 2nd day, I realized that the front desk forgot to give me my payment receipt. I walked to the front desk & requested my payment receipt. I only gave my room number. They never asked me what my name was nor did they request my ID. They just handled me the receipt. So I could have picked up anyones payment invoice by just providing a room number. I expect better privacy with my personal information. It's disappointing that the Phoenix on the Bay hasn't been kept up or managed better because we loved the huge lazy river but we will be staying at the Turquoise next time we go to Orange Beach.
