2 Bedroom/2 Bath Beachfront!

5th Year if that doesn’t say it all.

We have stayed at Ocean reef for several years. This was the first time we stayed in this unit, 607. Communication was difficult. I reached out to the owner 3 days prior to check in to inquire about the check in process bc the info was not provided in the automated email. 2 days later she said the info is provided the day of check in. However, I had to reach out again when we were two hours away because I had yet to receive any check in information. Upon arrival, the unit was noticeably dirty. We were left with 3 bracelets, No parking pass, no Information sheet, etc. I emailed her. she told me to pick up a packet from the office. This should’ve been taken care of prior to our arrival. Due to office hours, 4 days into our stay, we didn’t have necessary items. Within the first 24 hours of being there we noticed the following: - Dishwasher that was not secured to counter top and falls forward if you try to open it - Missing smoke detector - refrigerator drawers filled with water and water pooling in bottom of frig - oven and stove covered with burnt food and debris I immediately emailed the owner about the safety concerns with the smoke alarm and dishwasher. She sent a repair man. When he arrived I mentioned the other concerns and he immediately called her to report them. I Never received an apology or acknowledgement that the property was left in this condition. Over the course of a couple days, we also noticed the microwave doesn’t rotate, oven doesn’t heat right and garbage disposal doesn’t work/ leaks under sink. The maintenance man came back several times to try to secure the dishwasher but a part had to be ordered. Without any notice, a second repair man came who was unaware that the first one had been there. He acknowledged that he couldn’t fix it and left. I sent the owner another email noting my concerns with the unit as well as the additional maintenance man showing up without prior knowledge. I also pointed out that due to the conditions of the unit, we had a repair man in the room for 5 our of 5 days. We left early. I emailed the owner with a long email of concerns, suggestions and request for partial refund. Her response basically said “we are taking care of the issues you told us about”. No apology. it is her job to know the condition of HER unit. I sent another email- no response. No acknowledgment of all the issues I noted or request for refund.

We had a great time. Place was beautifully decorated and as pictured. Only recommendations would be fix the washing machine, dishwasher and add cooking sheets/cake pan. Balcony was huge and comfortable living spaces inside.

We had a great time at PCB and absolutely loved the beach! We have been coming to the Ocean Reef for 4 years and we are never disappointed! Thank you so much!

The condo was nice. We would stay here again

Overall we enjoyed our stay. We were right on the beach with a great balcony which is accessed either by the master bedroom or the living area. There are some beach toys and body boards in the laundry room which we put to use. The place was fairly clean but could use a little elbow grease near the baseboards. Having a washer and dryer came in handy. There are some dishes and utensils, but having some pans for the oven would have helped. The master bedroom has a very soft bed, but the other bedroom had very comfortable beds. The downside was that the room with 2 beds had a very high ceiling with a light fixture containing 3 bulbs. Only one was working. I let the property manager know that it needed replaced since it was too high for us to replace. No one ever came to replace it, though. Fortunately, I had brought a flashlight. The overhead light worked, but was dim and the flashlight came in handy for looking inside my suitcase and the closet. Another problem was that there was a complaint from a previous tenant/vacationer about the smell coming from the toilet in the master bath, so someone came to look at it during our stay. They pulled the toilet up and put it on the floor for a big chunk of the day because it was cracked and needed to be replaced. This left that bathroom out of commission during that time. I wish they could have waited to do it either before we checked in or after we checked out. There was a lot of noise outside the entry area at night, mostly from kids. We saw a few small bugs, but perhaps it was just about time for the exterminators (I hope.) Those were minor problems, because as I said we really did enjoy our stay. We spent most of our time out of the condo, but when we were there we were mostly either on the balcony or sleeping. The beach was beautiful and we loved watching the dolphins in the mornings. I would stay here again.

Nice condo with beautiful view! Huge balcony! We (4 retired ladies) had a fabulous week here. Plenty of room and there are beach umbrellas, etc., so we didn't even get ours out of the car! Beds are not the most comfortable but who cares when you go to sleep listening to the ocean?! Good place for the price! Not as expensive as most.

Enjoyed our stay. Condo was perfect for our group of four. Toaster was not working, and a new one was promptly delivered. Laundry room was full of beach accessories, which the teenagers enjoyed. Unit has two assigned parking slots, which were convenient, but sometimes a tight squeeze to fit into... we drove a van.
