Stayed Dec 3, 2024We arrived at our condo and somebody was staying in the unit! I started calling the owners and left messages, I texted and finally a response came. Granted they texted back within 10 minutes but it was seriously scary when you text and ask for them to call you and they won't. Also seeing that your call is going to New York freaked me out! Anyway they put us in another unit for the week it was an upgrade from a 2 bedroom to a 3 bedroom I guess, but we only needed a 2 bedroom. The unit has no extras in the kitchen such as salt and pepper coffee filters etc. we borrowed a can opener from a full time neighbor. It had the basics ( pots, pans, dishware, glassware etc.) which were in good condition. The mattresses and living room furniture need replaced. Legacy Dunes is a nice property and well cared for and nice that it is off the highway and gated. I can't recommend renting from these people, if you do I hope it works out. I know I won't recommend them or be renting from them again.
