This privately-owned and very comfortable 2br/2ba is a 1st floor end unit with a fantastic front deck for your enjoyment. Pet friendly! This property has been beautifully updated and accommodates 4 in beds plus 2 additional guests in the sofa bed. Each generously-sized bedroom has an attached bathroom for added privacy and functionality. There is a generous amount of natural light in this condo which gives it a bright cheerful feel. ***Please note the photos of the living space and kitchen. It is a combined space with bar seating for 4 people. ***. What the living area lacks in open space, the large bedrooms definitely make up for!
Walk a block to the beach access (which you can see from here) or enjoy sun, fun, and the sound of the waves on your own deck area. The pool is just at the other end of the building and is maintained year 'round. It's a very short walk from our door to all of the restaurants and nightlife on the island, but if you prefer to do the cooking yourselves, the beautiful updated kitchen offers all essentials - stove/oven, large refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and blender, along with a full compliment of dishes and cookware.
Here in our complex there are several year-'round residents who take great pride in the beautification of the complex. Close to this unit there are beautiful small gardens with plenty of color.
There is free wifi as well as free onsite parking, coin laundry facilities (not inside the unit, but close by), and a small pool for use by our owners and guests.
Best of all: The furriest member of the family doesn't have to miss out on all the fun! Dogs only -PLEASE INQUIRE FIRST TO PREAPPROVE PETS OVER 20# - SOME LARGER DOG BREEDS ARE NOT ALLOWED. Reservation will be cancelled if not able to host your pet. Pet fees are according to weight and are required for your pooch to stay. Fee is added on as an extra guest fee. There is a vet clinic right down the street plus an emergency clinic and pet stores in Mt Pleasant for all your pup's needs.

My husband, daughter and fiancé enjoyed staying in this cozy little hideaway. It was clean, a close walk to the beach, quiet and family friendly. We enjoyed our stay.
We’ve been staying at Ocean Inn for over 6 years. We have stayed in many of the condos…and always it didn’t disappoint! It’s always super clean and has everything you need! We had 2 kids and 1 adults…having 2 full size bathrooms was nice! The living area is small but space is utilized well! We stay on the go so that space is not super important to us! We love the walkabilitg to everything! This condo was perfect! Beth is always amazing to communicate with for any of your needs!
Everything was fine, especially Beth the manager. Bedrooms and bathrooms were great. My only disappointment was the front living area. Way too small for our group. Had I known this I would have rented a larger unit.
Ocean Inn is a hidden gem. It is well managed with a great location to the beach and other amenities. A very family-oriented development that is quiet and laid back. Highly recommended!
We really enjoyed our stay. Location within walking distance to beach. There was a wagon and beach chairs in the closet. We really enjoyed not having to carry our chairs and cooler to the beach. Unit was very clean. Since I have a bad back a mattress can make or break. Queen mattress was good, King mattress was fair. Plenty of linens. Convenient to grocery store and coffee shop. Would definitely stay there again.
Beautiful place! Well maintained. Unit was very comfortable for 4 adults and very clean. Beth was a fantastic property manager and on site daily. The pool was relaxing and short walk to the beach and restaurants. Loved our time and we will be back!!
Place was/is super clean. They have a lot of stuff there. Seems people buy stuff then leave it? Or maybe they just put it in there. Not sure. They even had cinnamon, olive oil, and olive oil spray. That's pretty cool. Salt and pepper is there too. Plenty of plates, glasses, bowls, utensils. There was even coffee! Good coffee too. They had plenty of covers, blankets, pillows. Could use one more of the big pillows for the pull out, but my son brought his own pillow. He’s bougie like that so he didn’t have a problem. He slept comfortably in the pull out. He’s 12. you will be blocked in once you pull the pull out out, so you'll have to crawl over it. Wasn't really a big deal for us. We like to keep things open, and just moved him into the bedroom when we got up. Made the bed and closed it. The living area is kind of small. If you have two littles who like to be around you all of the time, it may get cramped in there. Bedrooms, and bathrooms are a nice size. New queen bed in one, and a king bed in the other. They had plenty of bathroom towels. Had shampoo in there, a roll cart with some bathroom things. This place is pretty stocked. Has a blow dryer. Has feet towels. It's also stocked with cleaning supplies which I loved! Has a broom, counter, mirror spray. Disinfectant spray. Careful. That's strong now. They have chairs, and boogie boards in the closet. More toys are by the laundry room too. Don't forget quarters. 1.50 a load to wash and to dry. One machine is 2.00. I didn't care. I'd rather have clean clothes in my suitcase. Should probably bring laundry stuff just to be on the same side. When we were there they had some supplies just sitting out. Not sure if that's normal or not though. Grounds are cute . Pretty flowers spread throughout. They take care of the property for sure. There is a bit of an ant situation in the parking lot sometimes, and on the wood walkway to this door. I saw them come around and spray though. It's not the properties fault. They're just there. I think they do what they can to combat them. Nothing was in the house though. If you want to enjoy yourself on the deck, DO NOT come here without bug spray, and a thermocell pest/mosquito repellant. I used the bug spray to spray on the wooden walkway that leads to the steps when I woke up. Wouldn't see any ants for hours. I think that's why I got attacked in the parking lot by the ants :/ eww. Don't park a golf cart right under that tree. Anyway, use the therm
Amazing property owner and planning on staying there again.
First off, it is a great location and has a great property manager. Any problems that came up Beth would promptly address. The mosquitoes are an issue (and could be due to the shaded side of the building, water, etc.) But plan on bringing spray if you come. It was a bit small for us during our stay, but manageable. Probably the biggest drawback I had with the property was the fact that it was a “pet friendly” property, but I felt like the owners didn’t really want any pets there. I understand that people can take advantage of these places with their dogs and leave lots of hair, etc. But it just honestly made me feel guarded the whole time. I didn’t feel I could relax for being worried my dogs were leaving too much hair behind or something that would have decreased our initial deposit. And I’m not sure why the pet (non-refundable) deposit didn’t cover excess hair, etc. But I have to say the thing that upset me most was as soon as I walked in there was an actual pillow that states, “No dogs on this sofa.” I mean, it’s supposed to be pet friendly. It felt more “pet tolerant.”
We enjoyed our stay but a few upgrades to the condo would make a world of difference here. The kitchen had no garbage disposal which is a little odd but the real kitchen issue was lack of dishwasher. We did not enjoy spending time hand washing dishes on our vacation. The only other problem was the mattresses. They were both very hard. We woke up several mornings with our backs hurting. Softer mattresses are a must! Location was great, property manager was very helpful, the condo was very clean, it had plenty of towels and linens and we enjoyed our stay but those small upgrades to the condo would make it a near perfect experience.
