Stayed Mar 11, 2023One of the best things about this rental is its location: right on the beach and across the street/walking distance to food and shopping. The balcony was very nice. We were able to sit there to watch the sunset each night. Beds are very comfortable. The other residents in the condo were friendly. There is a work-out room. The equipment is nice and in good condition. The beachy theme decor in the bedrooms is cute. There is a large amount of storage throughout the condo. Both bedrooms have very large closets as does the main living area. We also had access to a storage closet outside the unit where we were able to store our beach chairs and beach umbrella. It appears as if the unit has undergone some updates. The cabinets in the kitchen and bathrooms look relatively new. We have rented several places in and near Marco Island. There are a few minor things that to me would bring this unit up to a 5 star rating. There are few dishes and cups in the kitchen. An extra set of dishes in the kitchen so renters don't have to run the dishwasher every night would be nice . The non-stick surface on the small frypan is no longer non-stick. The large frypan worked well. The tub doors in the second bathroom and the sliding doors to the balcony are difficult to work. My husband did some minor cleaning of the tracks on one of the balcony doors after which it worked fine. Since we were not using the second bath tub we didn't do anything with them. Only one room has a ceiling fan. Additional fans would help renters comply with the AC temperature request. The carpet in the second bedroom has stains on it that a good steam cleaning could probably get out. The exhaust fan in the master bathroom shower area could stand to be replaced. It is rusty and makes a lot of noise. The water pressure in the sinks in the master bedroom bath was extremely low. We mentioned this to the owner. I believe he plans to look into this. Replacing the rusty door stops in the bathrooms and a couple of missing tiles around baseboards would just add a little extra touch. If you rent this unit you should be aware that there is only one beach chair available for use. You will need to rent chairs or bring your own. You will also need to bring your own hair dryer. You will receive a notice from the front office requesting you come in to go over all the rules of the condo. The pickle ball courts are right outside the master bedroom window.
