Very happy with the stay in St Lake. Would book here again. Clean, secure and quiet area
I initially booked the property for 2 weeks and then I added a third week. The check-in process had a simple flaw, but the owner was there to make sure my personal code work. After that had no problems getting in and out of the building or the apartment. The apartment was really clean, and there was everything you could possibly need for personal convenience. I did select I wanted an iron and ironing board and there was not one there and the only immediately went out and purchased them and brought it to me. There was foot traffic above me but that did not bother me. Parking was not an issue and I've had a spot in front of the building my entire stay. There is plenty of parking. The neighborhood was very quiet and I felt safe parking my vehicle on the street. I would have rented it for another week but someone beat me to it. In the future I would definitely rent this place again if available. I was very satisfied with this reservation.
I was in town for a sports tournament. I was travelling alone and meeting up with a group, and took some time to do some sightseeing. The owner communicated well, checking in that everything was o.k. a number of times, sent detailed instructions on how to access the property, and quickly answered a couple of questions I had. The condo was great for a single person. Full sized fridge to keep some food, space in the kitchen to cook or prepare food with a view into the living room area. I did meet up with my son for the last night and he stayed over and it was good, but I'd guess if we were spending a lot of time inside or if it was sharing a place with with someone besides family or a good friend, it might be a bit small. The air conditioning works extremely well - I keep my place warm during the summer at home and was shivering when I got in, but bumped the thermostat about 15 degrees higher and it was super comfortable. The location was pretty good. I'd never been to Salt Lake City before, so I was unfamiliar with the layout. The immediate area is nice and seemed safe walking at night. Very residential area, and quiet. I used public transport most of the time, and it was about a 5-8 minute walk to a bus that was maybe 15 minutes to downtown, or a 8-10 minute walk to the green line train to head one stop to the airport or directly downtown. If you have a car, the whole city is accessible pretty easily from this location. Grocery stores and restaurants were nearby too.
Sonia was a fabulous host! Listing was exactly like she described! Not sure what was wrong with the other reviews because the condo could not have been more quiet! Only saw a few other people and never heard any noise. Only suggestion for future guests: bring your own hair dryer. I didn't notice that it wasn't listed in the description. FYI we Uber'd everwhere. Costs us between 10-17 for one way to downtown. Much cheaper than renting a car. Thanks, Sonia for a great stay and being so responsive to my calls and texts!
My fiance and I stayed here while attending a conference in SLC. The condo is reasonably priced and has a great kitchen which was a big help as we didn't want to dine out every meal. Sonia was very responsive. My only suggestion would be for better check-in instructions. It took a while to find the right entrance/keybox.
Not a fan but to each their own. Super complicated to find what building you’re going to and to check in. High price for the area of town and quality of place you stay in. The entire inside of the complex and condo itself stinks. Kids upstairs ran around up until Midnight, sounded like Olympic track training the entire time and super disruptive. Also, I had to check out early due to snow storm, was told by Sonia that she would refund me. Then she ghosted me. THEN when she finally texts me back a week later, she was extremely rude, then proceeded to block my number when I simply asked what the status of my refund was. Once I finally received the refund, it was much less than what she told me she would give me back. Unless you want to get robbed of your money, DON’T STAY HERE
