Stayed Nov 24, 2024I liked the apartment, location and the parking was ver convenient. However, the rental is managed by a management company and they are not responsive. I prefer homes that are managed by the owner because they are usually much more responsive. The company does not answer their phones and you have to be willing to wait for up to 24 hours to get a response. That’s not acceptable for emergencies like a clogged drain. I. Had checked out early and then we missed our flight and called before their office closed to see if we could stay that night and get our keys back since we already pad for the next few days. They did not answer their phone and only texted me back much later and I had to book a hotel for the night. I would’ve understood if they said I already checked out but they didn’t even answer their phone during their normal business hours and only texted about 5 hours later. We also called about a window that would not close and the wind and noise were so loud but they couldn’t get the parts so they did not fix the window. They also did not send me check in email because they forgot and I had to call and text numerous times when I tried to get the check in information the night that I arrived. It was very stressful having to wait to get check in info.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our time in Hawaii, and this was a good unit for our family of 4 (including a 4 year old and 15 month old). We appreciated the convenience of the in-unit washer/dryer, and there were thoughtful amenities (i.e. beach chairs, a play pen, cleaning supplies, and all necessary kitchen items). Great views of Diamond Head, the Ala Wai golf course, and a little ocean view too! The location was near the beach and other popular stores. However, the area seemed sketchy at times. Police were called multiple times to the houses/units to the east of Waikiki Skytower, and there were a lot of homeless individuals in the area. We avoided those areas - sometimes walking out of our way to try to remain in “safer” spots. In addition, we found at least 30 mini cockroaches in the unit during our 30 day stay (They were either already dead or we killed them, so there were at least 30 unique bugs). The management company had the unit treated by a pest control company before our arrival and during our stay, but we continued to see the bugs. Overall, I would probably stay again if I could not find anything else in the same price range. However, the bugs were concerning and thus this unit would not be my first choice when we return to the island.

Stayed Aug 26, 2023This is a great Condo unit in a very convenient Waikiki location - practically everything is within walking distance. The building is very secure - you need a key fob to enter, use the elevator, and for the garage, and everyone in the building is very nice. The management company (Lei Realty) has very nice staff and they assisted with all our inquiries. The lanai is very nice, and has a glass northside window that helps block any wind/rain when occurring, so you can be outside most anytime. The complex itself is very clean and well cared for. We really enjoyed this place and our stay. Our only suggestion would be that the owner replace the couch - it is in good, clean condition, but the padding is very worn and it is not comfortable to sit on for very long! Would definitely stay here again and refer friends/family to do the same.

It was just one block from Kuhio ave, about 5mins walk to Kalākaua ave. The neighborhood is safe and quiet, I felt comfortable staying there with my daughter who was 13 months old baby. The window made sounds and it was noisy during the night on the windy days. One thing I felt disappointed was it took about 3 hours for me to check in. The person didn’t show up on time, so I had to walk to their office with the luggage and a baby. I recommend you to confirm multiple times with the agent regarding the time to meet.

Stayed Feb 13, 2022Few issues came up during our stay, but property manager was typically able to resolve quickly. WiFi had some inconsistent coverage but would continue working well after a hard reset. Property is managed by a third party who seems stretched thin across a number of properties, but if you call them they will be responsive - it took us some time to learn that. Kitchen space is a little small but functional and great neighborhood in Waikiki, close enough to the action to walk to nice restaurants but far enough away that you aren’t constantly navigating the crowded streets.

Stayed Dec 2, 2021Very convenient area. Perfect for walking to get whatever you need or want. Good pool, parking and views. Always something to see from the lanai.

I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I stayed a month for Christmas and New Year. Amazing views of the mountains, rainbows, Diamond Head, sunrise, and some ocean view to the right of balcony. The condo was also beautifully decorated with new furniture. My 4 year old daughter and I fought over the swing chair (I want to buy one for my home). Ideal and quiet location for shopping, restaurants, and beach are within a couple short blocks away. We had everything we needed (kitchen, washer/dryer, parking, and most important for me were the VIEWS). Lei Hawaii Realty was accommodating when I asked for extra pillows and bed toppers to help us be more comfortable (firm beds). The building is very secure (requires a fob to enter the building, use elevator, and getting in/out of parking garage). One day, it was raining hard and bedroom window would not close...Roy came within an hour to fix; He's a super nice guy). Wendy and Aiko are also very nice and responded to my questions/requests in a timely manner. I look forward to staying Waikiki Skytower again and will be booking with Lei Hawaii Realty from now on. I have recommended them to my cousin who visits yearly.
