Stayed Nov 27, 2016We traveled to Gatlinburg on 11/27 just to be evacuated because of wildfires on.the 28th. We drove a total of 10 hours just to spend the night for 1 night. I've been trying to reach out to Homeaway as well as the property owner for a refund. I keep getting promise for a call back with no response. I will be posting my reviews on social media and calling my local news! This is awful!

Stayed Oct 7, 2016I went to Westgate with 2 of my friends for my birthday on the weekend of October 8th. It was a great stay. The views were phenomenal as well as the staff on sight were awesome. We had the pleasure of being escorted by Jake/Jeff whom was very helpful in finding entertainment and just overall host. The service was A1, the beds were very comfortable, condo layout was exquisite and very clean and neat. Only issue I had was the toilet had a loud flush everytime but great nonetheless. Westgate is less than 5 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge...right in the middle. Trolley service steps away and great amenities on-site such as restaurant, waterpark, country store, game room etc...Would definitely be returning for many more visits. Thanks Westgate!!!

Stayed Oct 11, 2016Let me first say I found a ton of negative reviews of this place on Yelp so we were a tad nervous on arrival after driving our 5 month old and dog 10 hours from Chicago. One big thing that ppl complained about was feeling pressured into a time share presentation. After check in, we were told about a list of promotions that would be available to us if we wished to tour the property with them. Recognizing that this was the timeshare promo, we respectively declined and it was never brought up again. A bellman showed us to our building that was right up the road and helped get our luggage and gave us a run down of all the ammenities/activities on the ground. He was very nice and helpful. We took our little one to the indoor water park and had a blast. There's also several heated outdoor pools but we didnt go due to the chilly temps. The breakfast buffet was tasty and we went back every morning. The 2nd day we noticed a water drip from our bathroom ceiling. Called the front desk and a maintenance man was knocking on the door almost as soon as I put the phone down. Not sure where the water came from but they went upstairs and fixed the issue immediately. We spent a day in downtown Gatlinburg and took the tram ride up to Ober Gatlinburg. Both great experiences and beautiful scenery. Having such a great time, we decided to try to extend our stay. Asked the front desk and unfortunately nothing was available. My wife is more persistent that me and tried again later that night. She talked to Kimberly at the front desk who did some digging and found not only had a room become available, but also managed to move some things around and keep us in our same room, so not to have to pack up the dog and kid twice. Extremely helpful and kind lady. We had no real issues here. Everyone was prompt and friendly and helpful. The units were clean and well maintained. As of now, we definitely plan on returning and creating some good childhood memories for our daughter in the Smokies. -Brian & Nicole

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The room we stayed in - 1 bedroom deluxe - had a big spacious feel to it. Even though it was a big resort it felt luike we were in a cabin. Location was good. Amenities were great! We will be back for sure!
