Woodlands Way Chalet- A cozy get-away in Cloudcroft NM.

Our host Norman was very attentive making sure we had everything we needed. The cabin has plenty of seating in the living room and kitchen. Lots of blankets and throws for keeping cozy. There are several decks for enjoying the beautiful views and wildlife. The deer will come right up in the yard! It feels very secluded though you are very close to Burro Street.

This house is fantastic. The pictures don’t do it justice. I hope to stay again next year!

We had a wonderful stay at Woodlands Way Chalet. The house is immaculate and fully stocked with everything we needed. The best part was we were so close to everything but felt like we were miles away in the forest. Elk and Stellar Jays visited us and we even got to hear elk calls.

Homeowner, Norman helpful to responses, unimpeded views of the forest. We took birdseed for the feeder provided and had constant activity from different bird, squirrels and chipmunks.

This was/is our favorite house in Cloudcroft and over the 50 years we’ve been visiting, we’ve stayed in 25 houses.We really enjoy the layout of the house and the porches. Of course the location gives you a view of the beauty of Cloudcroft and a love for the wildlife the surrounding forest protects. Norman is excellent and responded quickly to help us in enjoying our stay.

Roomy home very close to town but still private. Would recommend.

It was a great location, good size place, clean and communication response was great. I sold totally recommend this location. We also had deer walking by daily.

Very nice getaway cabin, quiet neighborhood. Plenty of wildlife that go thru the property all the time. Very roomy and accommodating house. Norman was a really good person to deal with.

We really enjoyed staying in this home in Cloudcroft. This was a great base for exploring White Sands NP, the Organ Mountains, Three Rivers Petroglyiphs and Alamogorda. The house is very well appointed (including multiple charging stations) and very comfortable. We saw some deer in the evening. The host was fantastic to work with, and we absolutely recommend this property.

The house was a great place to stay. Arranged well. Furniture and beds were comfortable. Great location. Well cared for. Host/owner was very helpful and suggested several things to do in the area. Everything went well.

The house was great. Very close to town, so it’s a great spot for those looking to shop, dine, etc. lots of nature to watch from the deck. Birds, deer, squirrels, etc all around. House is cozy and has everything you need.

We stayed 7 nights in July at the Woodlands Way chalet and had a wonderful time. The house was very clean and in good condition. Furnished adequately and the beds were plenty comfortable. The smart TV and excellent WiFi was a plus. Plenty of privacy in the pine forest yet only 5 minutes to the quaint town of Cloudcroft. We spent many evenings and mornings on the porch watching elk and mule deer grazing nearby. Norman, the host was very helpful and accommodating. We will definitely be back.

Private, clean, easily accessible to town, and wildlife in the yard everyday. The place was great!

Our family (including grandsons) had a wonderful time at this comfortable cabin in a beautiful mountain location! The amenities were everything you would need and the beds were quite comfortable! It’s easy access to Cloudcroft and other activities in the area (fishing, White Sands, Sunspot Observatory and lots of hiking). We loved watching the deer and elk and hummingbirds from the front and back porches! Great place to getaway from the Texas summer heat! Host was available and responsive. Would love to return!

Love the big room!! Rained on & off all day! Nice clean cabin, saw Elk,deer and even a javalina. One comment about check out time of 10? Most places is 11! Thanks

Woodlands Way cabin was an exemplary accommodation. Located close to restaurants and shops but situated in a quiet neighborhood, surrounded by forest. Front deck, master balcony and back porch all wonderful for wildlife and bird viewing. In fact, a sweet pair of Western Flycatchers have built a nest on the back porch soffit. The owners of this cabin have put careful thought into providing appropriate supplies, kitchen ware, and toiletries such as shampoo, soaps, hair dryer etc. Beds are super comfortable and split-level layout of cabin sequesters master bed-bath suite with accompanying balcony nicely. The host was very responsive (I didn’t now how to stream a show, lol). The cabin was extraordinarily clean. Happy to rate this accommodation 10/10. Book early as I expect it is destined to a popular choice.
