Stayed Sep 12, 2025The The villa is beautiful, well-maintained, large, bright and inviting, and the view, I have no words to describe its beauty and power. Simply amazing. 05/10/25 The villa does not consider small children, especially on the two flights of stairs that do not have railings, which was a danger. The flow in the bathtubs is very weak and there was always a lack of hot water to take a fun shower. There are no screens on the doors and there are lots of mosquitoes.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Breathtaking views. The Villa is in a beautiful position overlooking Guincho beach, it’s so hard to capture how breath taking the view is. The pool is large and perfect for us who all love to swim lengths morning and early evening. The Villa is incredibly spacious and the beds very comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped and we thoroughly enjoyed cooking here. There is a full sized snooker table which we enjoyed on many an evening. In addition the owner offers many other activities which can be arranged from electric bikes to private yoga sessions. 15/09/24

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Amazing views over Cascais and seaside. Hiking trails are amazing and varying from easy to extreme. Villa definitely has Wow effect, great office space for working and heated pool great plus. Own car needed as shops and restaurants far away.

Stayed Jun 4, 2022Villa Equador is a stunning property with an awesome view of Guincho beach and the Cascais area Western coastline. The house is very modernistic and spacious. The best features are: (1) the heated pool (we strongly recommend paying extra to heat it like we did and the water temperature was around 90 degrees), (2) the amazing view of the ocean and beach and (3) the very open manner in which the house is built is super nice. It would greatly help the guest experience if: (1) some comfortable furniture (chairs and/or sofas) were added in the living area, the upstairs bedroom (at least one chair there) and the downstairs game type room. The living area sofas are almost impossible for older adults or ones with knee problems to get up from and are not comfortable to sit in, (2) add an umbrella or two to the outside pool deck, (3) have a handrail installed for the bottom 6 steps from the study to the entry way, (4) a window screed or shade for the North windows in the master bedroom upstairs as the construction workers directly across the street can see directly into that bathroom and, when the house across the street is finished, then those neighbors will be able to directly see into that bathroom and (5) ants were a problem for us in both the study and the kitchen so we had to spray them and clean up those areas two or 3 times a day yet they kept coming back. This should be addressed ASAP. Lastly, I'm not sure you really need to have a no shoes policy indoors - maybe just ask the guests to wear non leather sole shoes and be very careful!! We purchased and left for future renters a pool umbrella, pool toys and floats and quite a bit of food. All in all, the plus points of the house far outway the bad and we think future guests will enjoy it very much.
