Steps from Chair 3 at Whitefish Mountain Resort, Hope Slope Treehouse feels like the kind of place you would have dreamed up as a kid — except someone actually built it. Curved architecture. Tree trunks. Walls of windows. Murals that bring Montana inside. Ski in and ski out in winter. Ride lifts, hike, mountain bike, zipline, and explore the mountain in summer. Then come back to a private hot tub overlooking Hope Slope and a mountain stay that feels less like a house and more like stepping into a storybook.

The Highlights — Why Guests Love It

Treehouse magic outside. More treehouse magic inside. Warmth, adventure, and a little wonder around every corner.

Whether you're planning a once-in-a-lifetime Whitefish trip, introducing kids to the mountains for the first time, gathering family together, or bringing grandparents along for the adventure, Hope Slope Treehouse was designed to create the kinds of memories people keep talking about long after the trip ends.

Inside

Big mountain days tend to have a rhythm of their own.

First chair in the morning. Tired legs by afternoon. Hot showers. Hot tub after dark.

Then dinner somehow turns into cards around the table. Someone quietly sneaks into the hot tub early. Nobody seems particularly interested in tomorrow yet.

Hope Slope Treehouse makes the most of every square foot. Curved architecture, natural cedar, murals, huge windows, and thoughtful details create a space that feels larger and more magical than you'd expect.

The kitchen tends to become part of the experience too: big breakfasts before first chair, soup and sandwiches between runs, hot chocolate after skiing, and dinners that somehow last a little longer.

And somewhere along the way, somebody usually discovers the fourth-floor turret hideaway with twinkle lights and mountain views — and suddenly everyone starts making their case for why it should become their spot. Kids love it. Adults love it. Turns out treehouse magic doesn't really care how old you are.

Where You'll Sleep

Hope Slope works especially well for families and close groups who value being together and experiencing something truly unique. The tradeoff for the treehouse architecture and magical shared spaces is less bedroom privacy during sleep than a traditional mountain home.

Lower Level King Suite

✓ King bed
✓ Private ensuite bathroom

Lower Level Bunk Area

✓ Two custom Twin XL bunk sets (4 Twin XL beds total)
✓ Full bathroom just outside in hallway

Upper Loft Sleeping Space

✓ King bed
✓ Twin XL bunk set (2 Twin XL beds)
✓ Full bathroom steps away

A quick note on layout: The lower-level bunks are built into an open hallway-style area, and the upper loft sleeping space has no walls or doors separating the king bed, bunks, or living room below. Guests who love Hope Slope usually love being together. Guests wanting multiple fully private bedrooms may prefer a more traditional layout.

✓ Four full bathrooms total
✓ Fresh linens, pillows, and extra blankets throughout

Outside

Maybe it's watching skiers glide by from the hot tub. Maybe it's dinner on the deck while the sun drops behind the mountains. Maybe it's ending the day under the trees while tomorrow's adventure already starts becoming the conversation.

Winter brings skis and snow. Summer brings hiking, lift rides, mountain biking, ziplining, and long evenings outside.

Somehow everyone still ends up together at the end of the day.

Meet Beata

Hi — I'm Beata.

I wanted Hope Slope Treehouse to feel like more than just a place to sleep after a day on the mountain.

I wanted it to feel like the kind of place where kids get excited about stars over their bunks, where adults sink into the hot tub after a full day outside, and where everyone quietly agrees that leaving tomorrow suddenly feels like a terrible idea.

I personally manage every reservation because hospitality matters deeply to me. Small things are automated for speed so nothing waits. Anything important comes directly from me.

Take what you need from the Pay-It-Forward pantry. Leave what you can.

Happy to have you.
— Beata

The property is a great ski in and ski out. The kitchen is very well stocked! One thing we really enjoyed was the 4 bathrooms all having showers! This was great so all the girls could get ready at the same time which made it easier to get on the slopes early! And we got to bring our dog which might have been the best part!

Our stay at the Hope Slope treehouse was nothing short of amazing! The treehouse is beautifully decorated and feels cozy and inviting from the second you walk in. The Christmas tree was a surprise and a delightful touch since we were there over Christmas. We had a party of 8 (two parents, two adult children with significant others and two younger children) and had plenty of room for lounging, sleeping and eating. We loved having four full bathrooms--each with ample supplies of plush towels! The kitchen is a true delight for anyone that loves to cook! High end cookware, cutlery, and dishes give typical mountain meals an elevated feel. The pantry was well stocked and made for easy meal prepping and allowed spur of the moment ideas to be pulled off as well. The grill is conveniently located and was used multiple times. The location next to Chair 3 is incredibly convenient and it was so easy to be on and off the slopes within minutes-- without the typical trudging it takes when you stay off the mountain. If you have a group with varying levels of commitment to skiing throughout the day this makes it so easy for part of your group to stay on the slopes and part of the group to enjoy some downtime in the Treehouse. We enjoyed several games and puzzles in front of the large windows looking over the slopes. Beata is a very responsive host and provided all the necessary information we needed before and throughout our stay. Ensuring a smooth process start to finish was her mission! The Hope Slope Treehouse provided us with an amazing opportunity to enjoy quality family time, make memories, and feel pampered by the luxury amenities! Highly recommend!

Everything was wonderful! Sad there was not great skiing due to lack of good snowfall, but the property was spectacular.

My son and I stayed here for a father/son trip and can't say enough things about this wonderful property. The treehouse layout gave us plenty of space to spread out and each have our own mini man caves :-). The location is super close to some nice hiking trails right on Big Mountain, and was ~45 minutes to Glacier National, where we spent most of our time. At night, we loved making dinners in the spacious kitchen (with nice, updated appliances) and watching movies on the big screen, or hanging out downstairs playing PS5. We also used the hot tub several nights to relax those sore hiking muscles! The beds and sheets were really comfortable and we slept like big logs each night. Couldn't hear the neighbors at all (though it was off-season and maybe the environment has a bit more noise during peak season). It was a real nice perk to have a washer/dryer on site so we could wash up everything and go home with a suitcase full of clean clothes. The caretaker was quick to answer any questions we had during our stay. Overall, A+ and my son is already begging for a return trip next year.

The property was amazing, clean, and well maintained. The kitchen had everything one would need to prepare and serve meals to a large party. We had a great time exploring Glacier NP, playing on the beaches of Whitefish, watching local wildlife, and relaxing in the hot tub. This is a great location even when the slopes are closed.

Our family of 7 recently had the pleasure of staying in the treehouse and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views of the slopes and the seamless access to the mountain. It was a skier’s paradise especially with kids—literally step out the door, strap on your skis, and you're on the slope in seconds. The convenience of being able to ski directly from the cabin was a game changer. No waiting in long lines or worse a drive to the resort. The cabin was situated in the perfect spot for easy access to the ski trails, and after a long day of skiing, it was such a relief to ski right up to the door, kick off my boots, and relax. The cabin itself was incredibly cozy and well-appointed. It had a rustic charm that combined perfectly with modern touches, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The living area was spacious and inviting, with large windows offering panoramic views of the snow-covered mountains. The fireplace was a nice touch, providing the perfect ambiance for unwinding after a day on the slopes. The décor was stylish yet comfortable, making it feel like a true home away from home. The amenities at the cabin were top-notch. The fully equipped kitchen made cooking meals perfect for us.The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring that we had everything we needed during our stay. They provided detailed instructions on how to make the most of our stay, perfect and stress free.

Beautiful home with an excellent location. It was awesome to step outside and be right on the slope, then finish the day with a dip in the hot tub. The house was luxurious and the host was attentive and provided a comprehensive guide with all of the information you'd need. Our group was sad when it was time to check out!
